On Feb. 17, 2023 I brought me ******************* to have it repaired for moderate to severe vibration when driving on smooth roads. After 2 hours of examination they could not identify the cause. The examination included a 4 wheel alignment. The results of which were provided to me in graphic form. I was told that there was an out of tolerance condition that should be repaired and $199 was added to my bill for parts that needed to be ordered. The report also stated that this repair would not stop the vibration. On returning home I examined the data from the graphic form and realized that the alignment was not out of tolerance but at the limit and thus not a necessary repair requirement. I called and canceled the appointment for repair. I am a quality engineer with 25 years of management experience and very knowledgeable about mechanical tolerances. I have been trying to get a refund of the $199. I have called four times and left my number to get a return call but have received none. The standard answer I get is he just went into a meeting, he is out today, he is on the floor. I have not received a call to date. As an aside, I was told that probably I have bad tires. They tried to sell me new tires. My tires had been driven less than ****** miles. I called Continental tires directly and they have no record of any problems with my tires, based on the *** codes. Balise also owns a tire company, just a thought.
