    GOV+ is a completely unnecessary "service". You're basically paying double to get a passport renewal or TSA precheck. They don't tell you about the interview that is still necessary, and you have to pay an additional $78 to TSA at the interview after paying GOV+ $77.I got my passport renewal done at double the price, but my daughter, who submitted her passport renewal application to GOV+ in November still has not been able to get her application for a renewal passport through their system after almost 2 months! She will now have to miss our out-of- country trip due to this terrible 'service'. Don't waste your time or money dealing with GOV+. It may not be a total scam but it's the closest thing to it.

    Please be informed that when you voluntarily submitted your *** application, the basic information required from your passport application was automatically filled in. However, for the *** membership process to be completed, all applicants must adhere to the standard enrollment procedure and an interview needs to be done in person at an enrollment center designated for the *** PreCheck application program. During the process, candidates are required to schedule a brief interview, present proof of identity and citizenship, and submit their biometric data (fingerprints and photo). Clearance from a background check database is a prerequisite for eligibility. You were booked an appointment when you reached out via live chat on December 21st 2023.

    For your renewed and received passport, it's important to note that while applying independently or through traditional means is feasible, the process can seem straightforward with the right knowledge of the correct website, requirements, and forms, especially when efficiently handling answers and tasks. Making this statement after the successful receipt of your renewed passport is indeed simple.

    However, not everyone has the flexibility or convenience to pursue this option, especially individuals with unique circumstances who may find it challenging to navigate the process independently. This is evident in the numerous independent, verified positive reviews, not only on the BBB's website but also in news articles.

    Upon a thorough review of our communication logs, it appears you never even attempted to make any direct communication with us despite our various available channels. We encourage you to always contact us or any other business for that matter privately to discuss any questions or concerns you may have before publicly stating assumed statements.

    We would also like to clarify that we have sent multiple emails urging you to complete your passport application. As part of our commitment to efficient processing, we emphasize the importance of providing the required details and meeting designated requirements. To date you have failed to respond to ANY of these emails or make any direct communication at all other than this BBB complaint. 

    Unfortunately, without the necessary information, we regret to inform you that we are unable to complete your passport application. Processing applications with incomplete requirements is not feasible or legal.

    Our priority has always been customer satisfaction and as of January ******** , a full refund of $57 GovPlus software fee has been processed. 

    Please know that our refund process is real-time, but allow 1-3 business days, as bank processing times may vary.  Email confirmation has also been sent the same day . January 4th **** at 5:19 PM. We have records they have opened a minute after being sent. 

    We feel we have addressed all your concerns and completed your refund request. With this, we consider this matter to be fully resolved.     My only issue is it never asked me about my legal name change so I worry that there will be a delay. I know on the regular government paperwork that They do ask you if youve ever had a legal name change and I had nowhere to submit my documents for that. So after paying all the fees I still May not receive my passport . This is concerning.
