1 starExtremely misleading marketing, and all around a big scam that has made a business out of peoples lack of knowledge of the passport process. I purchased an expedited passport renewal for around $300, which I believed was me ordering my passport. Then I receive a package in the mail containing all the documents I gave them, and telling me to make an appointment at the post office to apply for my passport. I essentially paid $300 for an online document to fill out. I wouldve had to fill out this information at the post office either way, and they did not make that clear. This is a completely useless business that exists purely to fool people into spending money with them. Please do not spend money with these people. I hope one day legislation is passed that will limit these kinds of leech like businesses. When I brought all this up to a customer service rep with them, she didnt even deny it.GovPlus

GOV+ provides the use of its software as the service, we are responsible for ensuring the application is successfully completed and in some cases sent to the corresponding government or state agency BUT NOT FOR THE ACTUAL ISSUING OF THE DOCUMENTS. This information is clearly stated on our website and in our terms of service, which we encourage all customers to read thoroughly. It's important to highlight that prior to manually submitting payments, all customers must consent to the terms of service.
We want to emphasize that our service assists in processing your passport applications online, not the actual passport issuance and we never state we provide the actual passport anywhere on our website or advertising. The fact that we assist with passport applications is clearly stated on our website. In addition, our website says "Start Application Now, NOT Get your passport now.. No private company other than the government can issue this document; this is the law.
GOV+s mission is to reduce the complexities associated with filing various government forms online. While we can submit certain online applications on customers behalf, it's important to note that some applications require personal appearance. For new or first, lost, stolen, or damaged passport applications, the US ********** of ***** requires an in-person appointment for the submission of physical application forms with a qualified photo, presentation and submission of copies and original documents, along with signing in front of an official passport agent. Our service aims to simplify this by providing online photo service, printing service, preparing the necessary application requirements and delivering them in a GOV+ box with a trackable label directly to your doorstep.
We also want to clarify that the payments you made were for our software fee and government fees. The one-time software fee of $57 grants customers access to a comprehensive toolkit, facilitating passport application requirements without additional equipment or trips. This includes accurate forms, copies of identity and citizenship documents, online passport photos taken from home using our patented technology full details provided above. The government fees of $130 for passport fee, $35 for execution/acceptance fee, and $60 for expedited processing, were all converted to company checks issued by us to meet government requirements. All these materials are conveniently delivered to your designated address. This streamlined process eliminates potential errors and the need for multiple trips to obtain necessary items like a passport photo, new or correct forms, or bank checks. All you have to do once you receive your GOV+ package is follow the instruction sheet. We take full responsibility for ensuring your application documents are complete and ready for submission, requiring only your presence at your preferred appointment. This feature is highly valued by many customers as it streamlines their application process and delivers all required items to their doorstep.
While it's true that anyone can independently file a passport application, it's crucial to acknowledge the potential blockages or inconvenient circumstances individuals may face. Additionally, not everyone possesses the flexibility to gather all the necessary requirements in one sitting, especially those dealing with medical conditions or limited mobility, as most of these require going outside, like the bank or photo studio.
