1 starThis company that is in *********** is a complete SCAM. I made an acct to get a birth certificate replacement. They took my ***** and never delivered a cert but kept sending me an email that said I needed to complete the document then when I went on the site it said document completed. This went round and round and then I realized I had been scammed. They never asked the kind of info you need to get birth cert replacement. So I looked up the company FB page and there was an 800 number. The woman had a strong accent I couldnt make out. She kept trying to get me to go back to the site and try again which I did once only to find it says that my acct is not activated EVEN THO THEY TOOK THE 57,00. At that point I asked her to REFUND my money. After a long time like 5 min of waiting on the phone she sent me an email that CLAIMS I have been refunded but I have to check and I dont believe that this email is true. Its just an email saying I have been refunded with out any other information. On their ad they CLAIM to be a BBB certified and they are NOT. I am going to have to cancel my debit card as there is no other way to get my card info out of their hands. THIS FAKE BIZ NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.GovPlus

Please know that we are incorporated in ******** but registered to do business in many states, including, but not limited to, *********** and ********. A company registered to operate in any state or the commonwealth of ***********. Please know that *********** is part of the ************************, and its residents are Americans, it is just not a state. Where a company chooses to register to do business does not indicate that business is a scam, one has nothing to do with the other.
Your comment They took my ***** and never delivered a cert Please know that yes we charged your account $57 for the completion of your birth certificate application. However, the status of your birth certificate application at the time was pending because your GOVERNMENT FEE WAS NOT PAID. This required payment consists of the fee for notarization ($25) and the fee for a copy of the certificate ($29).
We sent you several emails asking for you to pay for the government fee so that we could continue processing your birth certificate application. These were the emails you mention that upset you, however, please understand we were trying to notify you so that we could continue with the birth certificate application so that we could get you to the finish line.
Your comment that the company kept sending me an email that said I needed to complete the document has been addressed in detail above. The emails were us trying to get you to complete and finish the application. However your comment then when I went on the site it said document completed. This was an offer we were showing you, that you can actually SKIP if scrolled down, but NOT the status of your application. Status can only be seen in the dashboard. We understand how this could be confusing and will work on this. Thank you for your feedback although we would have appreciated it was private.??
As of now your birth certificate application has been fully refunded in the amount of $57 on June 28,2024. Birth Certificate was the only application you had initiated and is now refunded.
The comment This went round and round and then I realized I had been scammed. Us providing customer service does not indicate A SCAM, in addition to the comment about the agent having an accent, is completely normal as WE DO NOT DISCRIMINATE against anyone's origins or ethnicity here at GOV+.
Regarding your comment..she sent me an email that CLAIMS I have been refunded but I have to check and I dont believe that this email is true. I am going to have to cancel my debit card as there is no other way to get my card info out of their hands; Its just an email saying I have been refunded without any other information. We do not need any other information as we are refunding the original transaction.
Please check your bank statement as the refund was completed on June 28th, 2024, depending on your bank this can take up to 5 business days. However, the funds have been debited from our account. Canceling your debit card is not only necessary but may impact you receiving the credit. We urge you to not cancel the method of payment until the refund is posted on your end. We understand your concern in this situation but can assure you that you are overreacting and drawing fear when not needed. Once the refund posts we will delete all your data, just simply make this request and we will oblige.
About the comment THIS FAKE BIZ NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. GOV+ is not a fake business; we are authorized by the government to be an IRS e file provider, chosen to be approved to transmit Beneficial Ownership Information Reports (BOIRs) to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) via Application Programming Interface (API). We are in the process of becoming a government contractor and much more, please verify your statements before publicly posting FALSE information.
If you do not wish to use our services that is fine, but do not resort to posting false statements in order to get a refund, that is not necessary as the refund was already issued prior to your BBB review. The refund has been posted, if you do cancel your debit card this will impede the refund process, as a refund has already been given. Please patiently await the credit to post on your account as the speed of this is now out of our hands and in the hands of your bank.

Also.. About your comment they CLAIM to be BBB certified and they are NOT, nowhere do we report to be BBB accredited. Please provide proof of this so we can investigate. 1 starI paid $97 and after back and forth with gov+ they agreed to refund $87. The first answer was " I understand and respect your decision regarding your application's refund and cancellation, but please be aware that GOV+ services entail the use of our website and application, which we have provided to you, given that your application has already progressed and is being processed at the moment. We will offer you a partial refund of $49." - In the end, they still kept $10 for absolutely nothing.
