    Started off EZ, when it got to Let GOV+verify your application, it said few minutes, in progress I cleaned went to grocery store took nap came bk it was still sitting n same spot

    Not sure why this isn't considered a scam site.They found me as I was searching for flights.They trick you into thinking you're getting a deal on a product (like the *** Precheck) by posting a savings on the usual fee, but all they are doing is charging you to fill in the free forms (from the info you give them), and set up the appointment for you. This can all be done on the actual free government web ******* I get to my appointment and find that I still own $****** I have to worry that the info I gave them will be *********** learned!

    Hello ***************************** name is GOVPLUS, not the *************************************** Our homepage includes several disclaimers clearly stating that we are 'NOT THE GOVERNMENT, JUST A FRIENDLY PRIVATE COMPANY.' Additionally, our domain suffix '.com' clearly identifies us as a private entity. In contrast, official government websites display official seals and the statement 'An official website of the United States Government,' and use the domain suffix '.gov,' indicating their government status.

    Our payment page explicitly states that 'GOVERNMENT FEES ARE NOT INCLUDED.' The payment process requires applicants to manually enter payment information, agree to the terms and conditions by ticking a box, and then click the submit button. These steps necessitate a conscious and informed decision by the applicant.

    I was trying to replace a lost passport before I left on my cruise. I had about 7 1/2 weeks before my cruise. Their advertisement makes it sound like a quick and easy process so I decided to try. I completed the process and spent money on the required the government expedite fees of 190 plus the 90 something dollars for the gov+ fee. What happened next is my application was placed in a review hold for over a week. Eventually it was approved and I recieved a packet from them. I then had to wait for an appointment date to process the packet. By this time I only had 5 weeks prior to my cruise left. When I arrived to the post office with my packet at my scheduled time, I was told they still needed my actual birth certificate and I would get it back with my passport in six weeks or longer. I can't bord the ship without a passport or a birth certificate so I had to reject the offer. So now I wasted 190 dollars plus the 90 dollars of Govplus fees. If I would have just went to the post office when I had a chance I could have gotten my passport ahead of time.. The Gov plus application review delay is what screwed the process. It should not take a week plus to review an application when you are spending 90 dollars. At least I still get to go on my cruise because I kept my birthcerticate. Just don't waste your money...do the application yourself, it is not that hard and you can save time money and stress. GOVPLuS is not a useful tool, at least for passport issues.

    I wanted to renew my US passport and the process started smoothly until when I had to upload my photo and after several attempts I finally was able to, I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for that, being that it's hard for me to get around I find this website convenient
