    I am posting a retraction as I was able to request and receive a refund. I requested a refund because I thought Gov.plus was a federally affiliated program which could allow me to renew my passport online. I was mistaken, and now realize it is a separate business that can facilitate these services, but I want to do this directly with the federal government. Per my comment above, I was able to put in my request with the AI chat bot, and lo and behold, the following morning I saw that I had been refunded $124! There were initially 2 charges, one for $57 and one for $67, and both were individually refunded via Google Pay, and will be credited back to me in 3 - 5 working days. Not only that, but I received an actual phone call from a 'Summer', who was very helpful and solicitous in ensuring I was satisfied with their services. Though, as I said, I do prefer doing such tasks directly with the source, and cutting out the middleman, in this case. So, there is a happy ending to my story. And that will happen in 3 -5 business days. Thank you very much for your help, and promptness in getting back in touch with me. Sincerely, Leslie *****-******
