1 starI thought that this was a legitimate government/federal site for renewing passports. I navigated multiple obstacles to bypass paying numerous charges for other related items, and paid $57 to renew my passport...I thought. Not only were they not affiliated with the federal government, but they charged me $67 instead of $57 and after the fact I also found out that the legitimate government site not only doesn't charge me, but that I'll need to provide a new photo to them. GovPlus did not even mention needing a new photo, so apparently I'd have to wait for them to request the next hoop. I'm planning on contacting my bank tomorrow to stop payment.GovPlus

This message is immediately visible on a desktop and requires minimal scrolling on mobile. Additionally, our website uses the .com domain, which is a standard indication of a private entity, whereas official government websites use .gov, .org, or .mil.
We encourage you to fully explore the services we provide before making assumptions about our legitimacy. GOV+ is a fully legitimate private company, operating in full compliance with state and local laws, with a strong commitment to transparency and accountability. Our platform offers unique features and benefits not available through government websites, such as enhanced convenience, document protection, and automatic renewals. The standard GOV+ service fee for passport application is $67. This fee is for the use of our platform and our proprietary software to facilitate applications. Additional services come with fees and government fees are not included. These are all stated on our website and also reiterated on the payment page.
Our services are entirely optional and voluntarywe do not mandate, coerce, or pressure anyone to use them. Our mission is to simplify complex government processes and enhance the user experience through innovation and efficiency. Customers always have the choice to apply directly through government websites at no additional cost. However, GOV+ exists to offer a streamlined alternative for those who value convenience, accuracy, and dedicated support.
Your passport application has been cancelled and you were issued a full refund of $67 on February 17th. We strive to serve individuals who understand and find value in our services. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to be posted back to your account as bank processing times vary. A refund confirmation email was sent as well. 1 starMy husband found this site and we decided to use it for Passport renewal. The fees quoted were not what we saw on the website, and we were charged more. My husband's photo was not accepted, yet he was charged the full amount for a completed renewal. I emailed the company to cancel the applications on 2/10, the same day we filed the applications, but they have not responded. However they collected the money from both credit cards immediately. Our credit card company feels we may be the victims of fraud, and told us to report it to BBB. I'm not sure if you can help, but at least you are aware the company may not have ethical practices.GovPlus
