    This service may be helpful to some but there should be a warning at the top of the site (not the bottom where you have to scroll thru many pages) that this is not an official government site. All they do is give you a form to fill out and submit. I applied for TSA pre check thru them and paid $97. It wasnt until I went to my appointment to finalize the process and had to pay $78 to complete this that I realized I had been had. I urge anyone who comes across this site on ******** or ******* to do some research. The official government site does not charge you until you go to an appointment to complete your application. Im out $97 for believing a site called GOV+ was official. Dont waste you money!!

    We would like to provide you with a comprehensive explanation concerning your *** Precheck application, which you voluntarily submitted on August 19, 2023. Although we received your application, it came to our attention that it remained incomplete due to abandonment. Consequently, our processing team was unable to proceed with your application due to the absence of essential information.

    To ensure you were informed about the status of your application, we sent multiple reminders, the first of which was dispatched on August 19 at 2:29 PM, followed by another reminder the subsequent day, August 20th. These reminders were intended to encourage you to resume the application process by filling out the necessary forms. Regrettably, it appears that these messages did not successfully reach you.

    In light of your expressed desire to complete your application, you proactively reached out to us via our live chat support system on September 13th at 1:22 PM EST. Our dedicated agent, ******, promptly provided assistance to assist with the completion of your application. During this interaction, you were provided with a link designed to route you to input the additional information required for your application's processing. It was noted that you encountered difficulties in identifying the specific information requested, prompting our agent to request a screenshot of the information you were seeing. The agent waited for the requested screenshot. Unfortunately, you abandoned the chat session.

    Nonetheless, we are pleased to acknowledge that you returned to the application process and successfully completed all required forms. Following this, you received an email enabling you to select your preferred appointment. You have confirmed one of the schedules and the details are as follows:

    Appointment date and time: September 20th at 12:40 PM EST
    Location: **********************************: Located inside Staples
    *********, ** 02184-4953 


    You have been notified via email with the following message: "Hello ****, Your appointment is confirmed. Please be prepared to pay the $78 government fee. Acceptable payment methods include credit card, debit card, money order, company check, or certified/cashiers check." Your statement that It wasnt until I went to my appointment to finalize the process and had to pay $78 to complete this that I realized I had been had. was inaccurate. You have been advised prior to attending the appointment that a government fee will be paid and payment methods were provided.  

    It is important to highlight that your decision to utilize our services was entirely voluntary, and we trust that you had the opportunity to thoroughly review the disclaimers regarding our services and associated fees. These disclaimers educating you are prominently displayed throughout our website. We would like to specifically address your assumption that our website lacks indications or statements of our affiliation with the *** or any government agency. If you had  thoroughly read our website in its entirety , there would be no confusion or assumptions made about our website, services and affiliations. Although we have been contacted in the past by the Government to assist with streamlining certain forms, we have chosen to remain a provider to customers only at this time. Our website homepage, www.govplus.com, clearly and boldly states close to the top that we are "Not the government, just a helpful private company. This disclaimer at the bottom of our website and the exact disclaimer in the terms and conditions is as follows:

    "GovPlus is a private online software technology company not affiliated with or endorsed by any government or state agency. We do not charge for any forms, however, we charge for the use of our software in assisting you with completing the form. We are not a financial, accounting, or law firm and do not provide legal or financial advice."

    We have also included that same disclaimer in the terms & conditions, that must be acknowledged BEFORE payment can be processed. We do this to ensure our customers have read it.

    Furthermore, our domain suffix of .com is a clear indicator that we are not affiliated with the government. Our status as a private company is explicitly stated in disclaimers located on our homepage and all landing pages. These disclaimers are placed alongside call-to-actions and instructions that guide users through the application process. Additionally, the notice regarding the exclusion of government fees is displayed on our homepage, it says  "Government fees are not included." and this is prominently present in the disclaimer on our payment page to ensure clear visibility before entering any credit card information. So your statement there should be a warning at the top of the site (not the bottom where you have to scroll thru many pages) that this is not an official government site. was also inaccurate.
