1 starThis is a scam. First item from ****** search " renew passport online". URL = ************************>passport>renewal Takes you RIGHT to form to fill out. No other information provided at this time. Asks for personal information that is not really required for passport renewal. Gives no indication it is not a government site. I did this on August *******. When told to hit the submit button after just filling out form with no other requests from app, it would not submit. i was fortunate it seems because other people have continued and been billed for service fees from GovApply Support. I do not know if my data has been removed from their site because when i tried again the next day the data was all there. I deleted all my cookies and data from browser and then when I clicked on URL the form was blank. However, i am not sure about my data. Froze credit info and asked for fraud alerts. I would like to make sure this organization does not have my data or did not share it. I agree with another reviewer the rating should be 0 stars.Review fromDerek R

This place is a total scam. Stay away at all costs. All they did was send me a broken pdf with incorrect information. Their inadequate software cant even fill out the pdf properly.They wont even give a refund even though they admitted the file was corrupt and their services were not used in my event.Additionally, when selling you the services, it is not clear to the customer that what is being paid for is not for the passport itself. You have to pay the postal office again directly and they only make that clear after the purchase.This is a dirty fraudulent company.Govassist LLC

Fraudulent companythey took my full payment for a Passport book. I went to the local **** branch for my processing appointment, and I had to pay again. They stated that they do not work with any third-party payment companies and cannot take any payments online. Total scamand now they have my personal info, and they are silent in asking for a refund!Govassist LLC

This site is a SCAM. Its the first site to pop up on ****** which is insane to me. It has gov in its name to deceive customers. The west site also has a DC mailing address on the bottom to try and make it look more legit. They actually do NOTHING. It says it will process your passport application but the only thing they actually do is put (or steal) your name and info onto the ***11 application. Then you have to do the actual processing. This actually slowed down my process by days because I thought my passport was already being processed. Will file a FTC complaint.Govassist LLC

If I could rate this as a negative star I would! This company makes it sound like they are the government and this is the process to online renew your passport. It is not! They charged me $323 then sent me a PDF file if the passport renewal form that they filled out, wrong by the way and with an email through their server. I have disbuted the charge and I am working on getting my money back. The $323 doesn't even include the true fee. They want you to mail a check. I went to the real website and have done the online renewal in 20 minutes for a total of $130.Govassist LLC

Had no idea I was signing up for this service, I just wanted to renew my passport. I also find out yesterday that they took my information and registered my boyfriends address to the US postal service ( I have no idea how that was legal without me actually filling out a request through the ***** to have all my of mail sent to his address!!! I ordered GOVassist support services on August 9th 2024. I ordered their services because the website leads one to believe that they have an online submission tool similar to the beta service used by ********** of ****** I quickly realized that was not the case. I scheduled a support phone call for August 10th at 8 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. with Customer Support Agent *********************** (*********************** (GovAssist) Aug 9, 2024, 15:40 EDT). I never received that phone call. I then called the customer assistance number on my order email and no one answered that phone. Instead, I was directed to leave my name, email and phone number and someone would get back to me. This service is a complete SCAM. They charge you to file the forms through the mail on your behalf while advertising an online tool. This is the standard State ********** method and is completely free. The only online tool they have is someone entering your information into a the ** 82 form and emailing it back to you. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I cannot get them to contact me or issue me a refund of the $234.00 they charged me. This by the way they list as the cost of an expedited passport renewal and passport card paid to the State **********. It is not, it is their fee mimicking the State ********** costs. They expect you to attach another check with these fees to your application when you mail it. I am trying after 24 hours to get my money refunded.Govassist LLC
