concord auto protect refused to accept responsibility for a legitimate claim we made. They claim the repair we needed was preexisting. We had no zero knowledge of this problem. we tried to work with them and they offered us ****** to go away. So i cancelled the remaining policy, which left a balance due me of ******. I call each month and they say they will Zelle it over and they never do!!they continue to send me new solicitations to buy a warranty, when they will not handle our refund!! Our policy number is *******. I hope you can help. I think they are doing this to others.Initial Complaint

In September of 2924, I had to have my 2016 ******** SRX towed to the dealer in ******** CA from ***************, about 80 miles, it happened to be on a Sunday, the reason for the tow is irrelevant, I know that the cause of the tow was not covered, I figured since my car was in the shop I would have a separate issue worked on, during the week the repair shop tried to make contact with Concord Auto Protect they could not after several tries, I had to pay out of pocket, upon picking up my car I tried to make contact with the warranty provider, I was told that they would investigate, after a couple of weeks they requested that I send them the receipt, I sent them all paperwork from Mataga that I had, with the paperwork I also sent an explanation as to what I was soaking the refund for, they responded that the issue was not covered under their plan, I made a copy of the plan highlighted the covered item and this is where all the emails and phone calls started every week I called and they told me that I would receive my refund at the end of the week, 2 weeks ago they told me that I would receive it by overnight mail, as I said during this time I made phone calls about every two weeks which lead to arguments and they would hang up, get this they even told me when I asked to speak to the adjuster, that he had no phone at his desk, I asked how did he handle business as an adjuster if had no phone, they hung up, here we are in January of 2025 and still no settlement, I am actually afraid to ask a cancellation of my policy and ask for a prorated refund. After reading some of the comments made about this company, how is this business allowed to continue to operate....Initial Complaint

On 06/18/24, I was involved in an accident totalling my car. I immediately called my warranty company and informed them. They discussed my options with me and informed me they would be placing a hold on my policy. I called them back to inform them that I would not be settling in a timely manner with my insurance company and that I would need a prorated refund according to the options previously provided and the wording in my contract. I was given an amount of $1450 and some change. I was told it would take 30 days to receive my check along with an email of the breakdown of the prorate. As of the date of this complaint I have not received anything from them. I have made hundreds of calls, left messages with their billing department, talked with salesman, supervisors and claims technicians. I have been called names, hung up on, transferred and disconnected as well as given multiple dates that I would receive my returned money. Including having it overnighted on several occasions. All have been lies and untrue. I have dates, time stamps and names of who I have attempted to contact and those that I have spoken with. All can be provided at a later date if necessary.Initial Complaint

I purchased a warranty for my 2018 ********** Discovery on 7/11/24 . A down payment of $300 was collected, and there was a monthly payment of $76 collected monthly for the months August through December of 2024. I was assured my warrant would be accepted by the ********** dealership.I filed a repair claim on 12/13/24 after the check engine light came on in my vehicle and my vehicle lost power while driving on a ver busy highway. I took the vehicle to a land rover dealership, paid a diagnostic fee of $260 only be told ********** will not accept the warranty. I called around numerous repair places no one accepted the warranty. I found a certified *** who was willing to accept the warranty, ***************************. They stated they received approval from Concord to complete the repair work on 1/9/25. The work was completed on 1/15/25. Concord is refusing to pay the repairs stating they are not all covered under the contract and denying they provided approval to complete work. Repair estimates were submitted by myself, ********** and ********* and Son, multiple times since 12/13/24 to 1/9/25., The claims adjuster, Mr. ******* never said any of the repairs were not covered under the contract. He has never spoken to me on the phone and ignores my calls and emails. None if the individuals I spoke with said repairs were not cover. He sent a generic email stating the estimates provided did not include, cost of parts, # of hours labor, and part #s. On 1/1525, the claims adjuster Mr. ******* sent an email stating they would not pay for the repairs as no one gave authorization to complete the repairs and the main repair to ensure my vehicle does lose pressure, is not covered under my warranty or any warranty they sell. The claim # ******* was issued 12/1324 along with a list of repairs, it does not take a month for a warranty company to tell the consumer a repair is not cover. In addition, the company misrepresented the warranty, where you can take it for repair and what it covers.Initial Complaint

My experience with Concord? It's been nothing short of a nightmare. Picture this: I'm standing in their office in February 2024, being promised the world. "Your Tesla's fully covered!" they said. "You can get a refund anytime!" they claimed. Spoiler alert: those turned out to be empty promises. Just two months later, my Tesla's rear wheel bearings started acting up. That's when Concord showed their true colors. Despite my warranty coverage, they ghosted me faster than a bad date. But here's where it gets really interesting - I decided to cancel and get my refund. Simple enough, right? Wrong. Since May, I've been stuck in an endless loop of "two weeks" and "30 days" promises. I've called so many times I probably qualify as their most frequent caller. Their manager, ******* *******? Might as well be a mythical creature. I've left enough voicemails to fill a podcast series, and he's been CC'd on more emails than I can count. Still nothing but crickets. All I want is what they promised: my money back. Is that really too much to ask from a company that claims to stand behind their word?Uploaded are all my email I received from them promising my money backInitial Complaint

Purchased an extended auto warranty June 21, 2021 and filed a claim on November 21, 2024 for a timing chain replacement. The company has been provided photos of the damage from the shop, all of my service records, and an estimate. We have cooperated with the warranty company every time they ask for something. On December 19, 2024, we were told they were going to send out an adjuster in person but to date the shop has yet to have anyone come out to inspect the vehicle. It is now January 9, 2025. I called to speak with someone at the company and was rudely transferred to a supervisors voicemail ******* ******* where I left information to be called back. I have not been called back. I ask the company to operate in good faith and pay my claim to repair my timing chain.Initial Complaint

I have been in contact with the Concord Auto Protect team for approximately six months regarding my $400 refund owed to me after the sale of my vehicle. Despite numerous assurances that a check would be mailed, I have yet to receive anything.. During my most recent conversation, I was informed that the refund would be processed through Zelle. I confirmed that my phone number is linked to my Zelle account, but I have not received any funds through this method either. Additionally, I sent a follow-up email reiterating my request, but I have not received any **************, I attempted to escalate the issue by requesting to speak with a supervisor. Unfortunately, I had to leave a voicemail.I am seeking the prompt resolution of this matter and request that my refund of $400 be issued without further delay. I also want to note that I never utilized the warranty that I initially paid for, further underscoring the urgency of this refund.Initial Complaint

I recently cancelled my policy with Concord Auto Protect almost 2 months. I've tried dozens of times to cancel my policy #******* for my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and to get reimburse the $1400. I've been hung up on, put on hold never to picked up again, transferred to guy named **** who never calls back. I am very frustrated and am ready to get an attorney to elevate this matter. I want them to simply honor their agreement.
