This company is refusing to pay the shop that did my work after agreeing to a much lower amount than the repairs would cost. The shop I use is very well respected for honesty and integrity. The shop manager keeps calling and they tell him the accounting **** is closed and call tomorrow. He called at 9am. I've called them and been hung up on twice. Their ******** positive reviews are all fake accounts. They are misrepresenting themselves by making fake accounts and giving positive reviews.Initial Complaint

First, I like to say that I never do reviews but this time I have no choice as I want others to beware of the scam this company is running.The bad reviews dont lie but I am not sure about the good reviews. I believe Concord post them themselves. I purchased this warranty 6/2022, the sales representative said that if there is any issue the dealer calls us and we give them a credit card right away to repair your car, we also cover loaner cars, you covered bumper to bumper and you have nothing to worry about, yeh right. Well, I never used it because I didnt have to. Today May 23, 2024 I brought my car to the shop for engine light and after the dealer checked they said it has to do with pedal sensor in which every single warranty covers with no issues. After the dealer was on the phone with them for over an hour waiting they said they will call them back after they review the case.I called Concord to see how long it would take. They picked up right away, the representative was the rudest unprofessional person I ever had to deal with, he tells me it takes 2-3 days to give you an answer which I said then either give me a loaner or get it approved as I am over an hour drive from home and there is nowhere for me to go. He said we are not robots and we take care of case 1 at a time as they come in.Long story short, the dealer called them again and waited 1 hour and no one picked up (looks like they see the dealers caller ID and wont pick up) and then they hanged up on them without a word. I called again and right away the same rude representative picked up and I explained I cant wait in the shop for 2 days till they approve the claim, he put me on hold and came back and said they will let you know in 1-2 hours. Ha?They actually did replied to the dealer and denied the service due to company policy. The dealer was shocked, said I never ever had this type of issues get denied.Initial Complaint

My wife incurred a transmission problem with her 2017 Honda CR-V that required towing to a repair shop on 11/6/2023. We contacted our warranty company, Concord Auto Protect, that day informing them of the situation. Concord delayed the repairs because their adjuster HAD to inspect the vehicle before allowing Quality Auto Repair in ******* ** to begin work. In addition, Concord had Quality Auto Repair complete the most extensive questionnaire my mechanic has ever seen BEFORE providing any written estimate of approved work for the transmission replacement. Following the completed work, we have contacted Concord Auto Protect via email and phone no less than 15 times for payment of $ 214 covering towing and car rental expenses with NO payment ever produced. At the end of 2023, a Concord representative said their financial department was going through an overhaul and we needed to check back after the beginning of 2024. I have spoken to multiple individuals at Concord Auto Protect asking for a check we're due and they promised one would be produced. But as of today, Friday, May 24th, we do NOT have a check for $ 214 owed on Concord Auto Protect Ploicy VPN#******. We chose Concord Auto Protect from their online rating but I would NOT recommend them to anyone expecting quality service from an auto warranty company.Initial Complaint

I purchased a warrantee from Concord Auto Protect for my **** I purchased the warrantee at a higher premium because my car was more expensive and more expensive to fix. I filed a claim (#*******) for repair (4/9/24) of left and right rearward facing control arm and was told by Concord Auto Protect claim adjuster *********************** that the repair was covered. When I received the documentation of the claim, Concord approved aftermarket parts (OEM). After-market parts cannot be used in the vehicle as *** mechanics will not fix the vehicle with such parts. The repair is a safety concern. I reached out to *********************** via email. *** Mechanics can't/aren't allowed to use such parts as it would negate/void any standard *** warrantee. **** adjusted the claim but resent the exact same document listing OEM parts (4/29/24 and 5/20/24). I tried contacting Supervisor ***************************** via phone from 4/10/24-5/21/24 leaving messages daily requesting a call back. ***************************** has not returned a call nor email. I conveyed it's a safety concern and needed immediate attention. I was transferred to another supervisor where I left multiple messages as well. I have not been able to connect with anyone via phone. I have only been able to contact *********************** via email. He said he has no authority to address my concerns.Concord approved $80.99 for used/refurbished/recycled arm part. The cost of the required part is closer to $600. They won't cover labor costs in full, however that's not a safety concern and doesn't impede/halt the work from being done. I've agreed to pay the difference regarding labor. I'm unable to use unapproved/used/recycled parts, won't risk the safety of those in my car and those driving around me nor risk voiding my cars basic warrantee. I paid a higher premium to Concord Auto because my car was more expensive and now Concord Auto will not cover the cost of authentic *** parts. I'm asking they cover authentic *** parts for the repair and fulfill their obligation.Initial Complaint

Good afternoon.I purchase a policy with concord on August 2021 policy # *******.. I file a claim for wiper motors on March 24,2024 I decided to take the vehicle to ***** where they evaluated and fix the problem which was a replacement of the wiper motor which is covered by the extend d warranty. I contacted concord auto protection a few days later about the concern and was notified to wait 30 days. It has been almost 2 months for a refund..I have yet to receive anything. I am writing to address a critical issue regarding the refund for the unused portion of my auto protection plan, which was canceled several months ago.Since the cancellation, I have diligently pursued resolution by contacting the customer service department of ******************** Auto on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, despite my persistent efforts, I have encountered significant delays and have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution. Despite receiving assurances from your representatives that the refund would be processed promptly, no action has been taken, and I have not received the refund as promised.Initially, I was informed that the refund would be issued before Christmas of 2023. Subsequently, I was given assurances that it would be processed by the New Year of 2024. However, it is with great disappointment that I must report that neither of these commitments has been fulfilled.I want to emphasize that I am well within my rights to request a refund in accordance with the terms of our agreement. Therefore, I expect immediate action to rectify this matter and request that the refund be processed without further delay.I urgently require Concord Auto to expedite this process and refund the outstanding amount owed to me as soon as possible. I purchased an extended warranty from this company 5/11/2023 which should cover mechanical defects with my car within the terms (attached here). When I attempted to get coverage for an oil plan and valve cover replacement; I was denied in totality. But this was not before multiple emails were sent to the company by both me and my service advisor at ***** I also made multiple calls to the company experiencing the most HORRIBLE customer service of my life which included being hung up on and being lied to. Additionally, when I was transferred to the manager ***************************** (spelling?), I only spoke to him on a couple of occasions and he informed me that I would be issued a refund that was prorated from the date of purchase in the amount of $1500. I was then transferred to a *********************** who informed me that was completed and I would have a check within 30 days. That call was made and transaction performed on 3/18/24. It is now 5/11/24 and I have not seen a check nor have I gotten any cooperation from that organization to correct the issue. I called on 5/3/24 and spoke with two different people who told me it would be to me on Monday/Tuesday 5/6-7/24. It did not show up. I called back on 5/9/24 which I was hung up on, again, because the person refused to help me. I called back and told them I wanted a manager. I never get the manager live, always a voicemail and it's never returned. This company needs to be shut down; they aren't even offering a valid service because if I had a **** warranty it would have been covered. That being said; I am asking for a full refund of my purchase price in 2023 because I have gotten ZERO service for what I paid for. Frankly, I think I'm owed money for the time I've had to take out of my work day to make the phone calls which got me no resolution. I make approximately $55 per hour. I expect some type of resolution from them and quickly. This has gone on too long.Initial Complaint

I have been trying to contact this company to see if my policy would cover a part for my car. I have called over 15 times they keep telling me someone will get back to me, but know one never calls back. I think they are a scam Auto Extended Warranty Company.
