      I have recently moved in to an apartment that I truly love (less than 1 month) and have had multiple issues stemming from balcony door not locking, dryer not working and the door that holds the heating and AC unit being dirty and what looks like a nest of some sort behind that door that is right off my kitchen where I cook my food. Have been to the office multiple times and put in multiple work orders with no response at all from anyone, other than the computer generated response to your email after you submit a work order. Would NOT recommend moving to ANY Morgan Properties apartments.

      Property Manager at Lake Vista Apartments ** **** ***** *** ********** ** ***** Karen A******** is bonified RACIST. The current employees know even the residents know she's RACIST. Karen A******** HATES section 8 people and consider them to be low life's and crybabies and that they feel entitled amongst other RACIST comments. Even if you have section 8 or any other housing vouchers, they ask for 2.5 the rent to qualify even if your voucher exceeds the rent. I'm told that's how Morgan Properties weeds out the section 8 people. Because they simply don't want them there at all, though they want the money they receive from the government Morgan Properties are the same company from Bob Morgan, meaning basically just family members. She picks and chooses who she wants to lease an apartment to which completely goes against Fair Housing. I hoping that someone investigates Morgan Properties yet AGAIN. MORGAN PROPERTIES IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE A SCAM ESPECIALLY THE RACIST KAREN A******** over at Lake Vista Apartments ** **** ***** ** ** ********** *** She hates BLACK/BROWN people hopefully the new owners will be much better and hopefully get rid of Karen A******** she actually fits better with Morgan Properties they belong together.

      Morgan Property Landlord Yocoub from Elmwood Village is the worst! All he cares about is receiving money from section 8 tenants and as a result he lets any body into the property.. We already had a shooting which never occurred since he been the landlord. He is very Discriminatory against tenants who won court cases against him. He dismisses there concerns and talk to them in a degrading matter. He goes to these town meetings to try and get good with the city council while the community is in a negative transition on his watch because of him. Monopoly on his behalf.He needs to be addressed and corrected..

      I lived in Morgan properties n Alexandria VA, I will not exaggerate if I say my experience there was the worst and I will not recommend anyone to live there for the following reasons: 1- Old properties -70's- in dire need of remodeling or demolition, and very expensive. 2- Management staff unfriendly, unprofessional and bad attitude. 3- you call for service, you have to wait for longtime to have someone address your issues but if you are one day late paying your rent, they make sure to send you correspondence right a way 4- crime and theft in the area are high, 5- Trash dumpsters are barely cleaned and trash attracted rats, mice and all kind of others species, and roaches everywhere, stairs are hardly cleaned, and type of people who live there are mainly from latin minorities -nothing against the minority. 6- and this is the worst, always watch bills you receive from the office, right hand does not know what left hand is doing.
      I will not recommend the Morgan Properties to anyone to avoid any disappointment and harsh living. The whole Mgmt staff must be replaced the soonest. I was stiffed on my security deposit and was asked to pay more money.

      I’ve noticed that even after I clean my apartment within a few days I have black sooty film all over the fridge and all over the blades on the ceiling fan. There is also black soot on and over the vents. I left several messages with management stating that it’s mold but they have yet to address the issues and it’s getting worse especially when I start coughing and now migraines when I’m here. Please please address this issue

      Been living in a townhome managed by Morgan properties for a little under a year now. I should’ve known from the initial walk through and paperwork that the company’s operating practices are subpar. A week into moving in we had rodent issues and were told to limit the trash and how we eat in our home. My husband is a neat freak and cleans daily so food and trash outside of the kitchen area is not happening. A month into the move the toilet on the second floor wouldn’t flush properly and then started leaking. Maintenance came a week after reporting the issue. To fix the issue they had to cut into the downstairs ceiling to get to the pipe. Once the pipe and toilet were repaired there was a hole left in the ceiling. The contractor said someone else would be out to repair it. Calls and emails were sent to get the hole repaired but no results. I had to have someone call starting five minutes before the leasing office to open nonstop for two days to get results. I think the hole wouldn’t have bothered me so bad but we had planned on hosting family from out of town and had to find them other accommodations. When it rains the backyard is a swamp for at least two weeks drawing bugs and trash. When we reported this they said it’s a county issue. Now we are without air conditioning on the hottest week of summer. We reported the issue and were told it would be fixed in 2 days. Two days past and still no ac. More calls and emails and they came to my door with a portable ac. One! For a whole townhouse with a family of three. Spoke to them yesterday and were told that the ac wouldn’t be fixed until next Monday…. I am finding ways to get out of the lease because I can’t do another year of this

      Station 153 is a joke. They just don't care about their tenants. I've had a hot water drip in the main bath tub for over a week. Lots of people moving out of their apartments in this building and it's probably because of the roaches and gnats.

      Maintenance is even more of a joke. You're better off trying to fix it yourself. It takes them three or four attempts to fix a problem. They hesitate to replace a failure, just hope you'll live with the problems. Honestly, it's like replacement parts take away from their Christmas bonus.

      Don't live here. They don't care. They just want the rental money and anything extra they can get from you.
      They act like they are doing you a favor by living here.
      And you pay for the privilege of being treated like garbage. Or the roaches crawling on the walls and in your appliances, and over everything you have.

      STAY AWAY. Not worth your time, money or energy.

      This property is a upgrade pha property it’s infested with mice and they charge entirely to much for this ran down apartment complex they lied about having central air as well a flat rate for utilities, the central air has one speed and that’s low fan which is not explained in the lease I’m definitely not renewing my lease with them .

      Awful rental experience. They value quantity of tenants over the quality. Making thier properties dangerous and filthy. My entire townhouse is falling apart they do nothing about anything. I don’t know how this is legal. I can’t wait to be out of this mess. Shame on you Morgan family.
