I lost property due to mold found on 10/7 for the 2nd time this year in the same localized area. Prior to mold had mysteriously started growing on my daughter clothes through her drawers. Mold was found on the baseboards and on her carpet. Maintenance came in, replaced the baseboards and shampooed the carpet. Never assessing where the mold was originating ********* forward to 10/7 when I discovered mold in my daughters bedroom again one day before her 5th birthday. A ticket was submitted Upon discovering the mold after just paying over $2000 for rent. I discovered molded personal property. Her ****** Mouse wall unit had mold growing on it. Her rocking chair had mold on it and numerous stuffed animals had mold. I had to throw out her wall unit and rocking chair. Some bears were salvageable after going to an outside laundry mat to try to salvage some of her animals. Her stuffed animals are sentimental. Most were salvageable and some were a total ******* daughter room was uninhabitable for 2 weeks as she and majority of her belongings was moved to living room. We were not able to get temp housing (money spent on rent and my daughter's 5th birthday), contacted insurance and was told it was the property's responsibility. I was not offered an alternative due the to mold making the unit uninhabitable.I kept my daughter's bedroom window open for days while running heat for ventilation purposes as I did not get a dehumidifier for several days after reporting mold in the unit. I expect to see an increase in my utility bill because of this.I had expected family who was to visit to celebrate my daughter that could not take place because my living room quarters was my daughter's bedroom and in disarray. Nor did I want to expose my guest to the mold in my unit.I used several days of leave at my job because of sickness and to oversee that maintenance do the job throughly this time. I suffer with asthma. Explains the sickness I've been experiencing with respiratory.

I applied for an apartment twice at lighthouse at ********** apts within 1 week apart. The first time after 3 days the application timed out when waiting on a third party company "***********" to receive income. I kept trying to submit my social security award letter and couldn't and no one there would help and the property manager would never come to the phone to assist so they just denied me. Now, a week later I applied again thinking that I would quickly submit everything and again having a hard time after linking my bank account, they're still saying the income on the bank statement is not enough. The bulk of my income is from my social security so why wouldn't they assist me after paying two ***** application fees. I also asked if I can provide my new hire letter from a new job I'll start next week and one lady answered and said "yes" and the other lady said "my property manager said that we do not accept new hire letters. All I'm trying to do is apply for an apartment and provide my income verifications. How do you get assistance from a property manager or a leasing consultant that's truly willing to help their prospects.

Dont move here. Rodent mouse issues. I ask maintenance and the rental office to come address this issue everyone ignoring me not taking it serious. This is creating an unsafe situation in my home: I have a young child, I am unable to cook safely, and Im not sleeping because Im fearful to move around the apartment.

I have lived with this company since 2023. I have not had a pleasant time with them. The staff is basically all women, they are mean and rude. They consistentently send me messages and emails with threats to make charges towards me for things being on my balcony. which I never knew having patio furniture was an issue. I had empty plant vases that they continued to complain about. Mind you they were EMPTY!! I have a 50 year old special needs neighbor who has live in aids who basically allows her to urinate in front of my apartment door. She is very disrespectful and lies to the **** team about things. She throws trash out her bedroom window onto the grass outside. I currently have an issue where they are claiming I didn't pay my rent. But I did and was done 2x. I went to the bank where they showed me the payments went through on 2 occasions on the 5th and the 19th. So they basically stole from me. But won't talk to me face to face . They wanna call me. Im done with the phone games. I have all my proof needed. Play with something and someone safer. I don't play about my money. I work too hard!!

This company is very unprofessional; after living in one of their properties The Legacy of ********** for 8 years ; upon move out I received an email tha I owed over ******; after several attempts to reach a leasing Agent and being told in one was available I advised I would contact corporate; 5 minutes later I received a call advising that they will update the current charges; in the end they owed me over ******. My move out was 8/2/2025 and i received a letter that my refund will be mailed to my old address, I called and spoke to ******** who started it was an error and shes unsure why they failed to update my new address and that it was mailed to the old address and new one will be sent, now ****** the Manager states it was sent to my new address which is a fabrication and contradictory from Maribeths communication, I advised Texas Law states a Tenant must receive their deposit within 39 days of providing their new address. Fast fur 46 days and still no check. I also reached out to corporate and left 3 messages and no one has called me! This is so unprofessional and I wont recommend them to my worst enemy; well actually they are my worst enemy at this point and their own worst enemy!!

Been here for over 8 years. Every months they charge me 34 dollars for my parking space. 480 dollars a year. Yet violators who park in my spot face no accountability. You pay for services they don't intend to honor. In legal terms, it's criminal negligence. In human terms it's gross ineptitude by office management. This will be my last lease with ******** Morgan and Morgan Properties. No honor, no ethics, no integrity.

On July 2, 2025, I raised a concern with the leasing office about maintenance using the outlet on my patio without notifying me. Initially, I was told the complex pays for patio electricity, but when I mentioned checking with the City of *********, the manager changed her statement and said it was my responsibility. This inconsistency was frustrating. While there, I brought up the overgrown tree touching the building, which I reported in May and again by email with photos on June 12. Since nothing was done, I brought it up in person, but the manager questioned how many times we had spoken, which felt dismissive. This was only our second conversation, with the first about verifying charges for my two parking spots.Later that day, my door camera captured a maintenance worker pouring liquid on my young tomato plant in the heat, which can damage it. I returned to address this calmly, but was initially ignored and told it was just water. I explained that it was still harmful to my plant and asked the manager to speak with maintenance.Outside, while I stood quietly beside the manager, the manager became angry and threatened to call the police. A worker (possibly named *****) told her to return to the office to wait for police and aggressively told me not to speak to other workers. When police arrived, I showed them my camera footage, confirming my calmness. The police said I had done nothing wrong criminally and explained that eviction would require a legal process.Later, while reviewing my footage in case I have to go to court, I ***** ***** mocking me on camera for crying about the outlet, raising concerns about retaliation. As an African American female, I believe calling the police was meant to intimidate me for raising valid concerns. It would have been my word against theirs if I did not have video evidence. Also, evicting me for making valid maintenance complaints is unlawful and considered retaliatory.

Refuse to communicate, Unsafe, Unfair, and Financially Abusive BE WARNED if you plan to move in Timberlake Apartment Homes. I like my neighbors and my apartment setup. However, I can not tell you how many written and verbal correspondence I have made to Morgan Properties management, Morgan Properties compliance and Morgan Properties legal and Morgan Properties Executive team with no responses. I am exacerbated with Morgan Properties locked me out of my rent portal with no policy support forcing bank check payments traveling I travel most of the time and depend on making online payments. I had to drive 2 hours from where my mother is hospitalized and 2 hours back just to get a bank check. They have took me to court almost monthly for 2.5 years, charging $180+ fees each time on top of the late fees due to them unlawfully and illegally locked out of the online portal preventing me of making payments. Ive paid over $13,000 in fees while: Elevators broke constantly (Ive been stuck inside!),Call box never worked (zero building security),Mice in my unit and toilet running for weeks increasing my sewer bill.

CAN I POSSIBLY LEAVE NO STARS...what the actual f is this complex doing? The infestations of insects, the water issues, the water bills, the mysterious fees, and the illegal use of units being used by non leased tenants. It has become one major dump site for everything. ******* location Morgan Properties *******. Or whatever they go by. This is RIDICULOUSLY INSANE!!!!I have never in my life seen these apartments this bad since I've seen them being built in the late 70s. These newer realtors have completely messed them up so badly. Please God take the wheel on this one. This Realtor has so many negative comments, complaints, and bad innuendo. And you keep allowing them to multiply. GET RID OF THE INFESTATION OF POOR COMPANIES THAT CANT HANDLE THEIR OWN JOB. JUST GET RID OF THEM. WHERE OR WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ACTUAL OWNERS?
