    On July 13th, 2024 I got an email from my bank saying my credit score had dropped 36 points in one day due to a derogatory **** from a collections agency. I was in shock and decided to investigate. Upon finding the name Torres Credit services, it showed me that I owed money from an electric bill in **********. I moved out of state in 2021, hence my confusion. It says I had an unpaid bill for which I had originally set up automatic payments before having the account closed/inactive. Apparently these may have not gone through and without any notice continue to charge me without running any payment. I am now in communication with the company in hopes I can resolve this however my credit score has taken a major hit. Torres credit services made 0 effort in contacting me in any form and destroyed my credit history in 24 hours.

    Torres Credit Services added a derogatory **** to my credit report stating that as of July 11th 2024 I owe them $2,283. I have never heard anything from them, *** never heard of them, and I have zero knowledge of a debt totaling $2,283. I want this fraudulent charge taken off my credit report entirely, and I want to file a formal complaint against them for adding this fraudulent charge to my credit report. They have never once tried to contact me about this debt that I supposedly owe them!

    I received a derogatory **** on my credit report from Torres Credit- i have never gotten a notification from them and i do not owe a credit to them - they are completely false. Cannot get ahold of anyone to get this resolved

    I am writing this to complaint against Torres Credit Services, Inc. I find there are a collection on my credit report from Torres credit company , and original creditor is **************************, so I contacted ******, them told me someone use my information to open an account: ************, and the bill of address is *************************, I am sure I have never lived in this place, and I have never opened this account, so this is identity theft. So at first time,I find policemen, and get a police report file form the officer, and I send the police report file, and the proves(my tax return 2022-2023, and bank statements)Complete addresses for the past two years to Torres and original creditor ****** by email, but now the collection is still on my credit report,I am very angry and disappointed about Torres, first, they put an account for collection from the ****** on my credit report without contacting me or validating the debt,I didnt receive any mails ,emails, phone calls, This disregard for due process and failure to provide proper notice violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other relevant consumer protection laws ,If they would have contacted me first, I could have easily proved it was Identity theft.Generally , I kindly request that the Better Business Bureau investigate this matter thoroughly, I think their actions are not only disregard of law, but also indicative of deceptive practices that can harm consumers, it is irresponsible.And I want to remove the collection form credit report as soon as possible!

    In June of 2022 I sold and vacated my home in ************. At said home I had an account with Southern California ******* # ************. I made many efforts to get final closing bill on this account and paid said closing bill. I never received another bill till Torres Credit Services *** sent me a bill in May 2024 for $977.62. I have requested but not received documentation for this debt. I tried to dispute this bill and was told it was "undisputable". Receiving this bill two years after the fact with no communication in the interim and no documentation is not acceptable practice. As it stands I will not pay this bill and Torres Credit services should cease all collection attempts and retract any negative credit reports.

    Received a derogatory ****** on my outstanding credit report from Torres credit service the original creditor was Commonwealth ******* This ****** was for an apartment my stepson had rented and he closed this issue, please see the attached showing settlement agreed to. I have no idea how my name got attached to this but when I reached out to Torres they said I must have cosigned for the rental, I did not. when my step son provided Torres with proof of settlement they then said it was for a different address and would not close it. He asked for the address and they gave him a ******************* address that he never lived on. Please help me remove this as we are getting nowhere with Torres.

    I just recently received a change to my credit report. Upon me checking to see why, I came across a derogatory account under the name of Torres Credit Services. Ive never heard of this company nor ever dealt with this company. Ive received no mail or phone calls from this company. They claim I have a debt of $1.876.00 that was previously Southern California ******* This is a false claim. *** never owned a business and Im not sure you could run up an ********************* that high from home without your power being turned off. This absolutely makes no sense. I reached out to ****** on 6/25/2024 and they know nothing of this debt. Id like this removed from all credit bureaus/agencies.

They also told us that theyve never heard of Torres Credit Services. They have started their own investigation regarding this matter.
