    I am filing this complaint against Torres credit services for multiple unlawful and ongoing violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act. Torres Credit Services has furnish** inaccurate and misleading information to ********** regarding a debt I was told by Com ** they alleg**ly purchas**. This reporting is materially false and has caus** me both financial and emotional harm including direct interference with my current application for mortgage financing. I have never done business with Torres in any capacity, nor have I been notifi** by Torres of this debt in any manner by email, mail or phone. Yet Torres unlawfully without notice report** a derogatory collection/charge-off to Transunion. Torres fail** to send a written notice within 5 days of their first communication as requir** by FDCPA -809(a) 15 USC -1692g(a). I receiv** no written notice of debt validation which is a clear violation of f**eral law. Torres is inaccurately claiming I open** an account with Com ** on 4-15-25 and the account was clos** on *******. This is inaccurate I did not have an existing Com ** account in my name at that time. This error damages the accuracy and cr**ibility of the data being report**, violating 15 USC 1692e(2)(A): False representation of the character, amount or legal status of the debt. Torres is also unlawfully reporting my name to have a middle initial, legally my name does not identify with a middle initial. This is a misrepresentation of my identity, can lead to identity theft and is in violation of 15 USC 1681e(b) and 15 USC 1681 s-2(a)(1)(A). The collection/charge-off Torres report** from 4-15-25 to 6-25-25 was fraudulent. Reporting a collection/charge-off in 2 months constitutes false representation under FDCPA 1692e (2) and furnishing of information known to be false under 15 USC 1692e (8). The $462.00 is also inaccurately furnish** by Torres in violation of 15 USC-1681e(b): Failure to ensure maximum possible accuracy.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This email is in direct response to my initial complaint/dispute filed against Torres Credit Services on 7-27-25. Torres said they could not see anything in the 1st and last link, last link being the 5th. To resolve this matter the 5th link was invalid due to it being an auto generated file error. The 1st link was supposed to be my Transunion report proving that I am not **** P ******. Now in the attachment below pdf 1 is the original link of the Transunion credit report I attempted to provide in my first complaint/dispute proving the information Torres credit Services provided is grossly inaccurate. Legally I have never identified to the government as **** P ******, I have never carried a middle initial in my name and I don't know who **** P ****** is. Torres is falsely misrepresenting my identity, false or deceptive representation in the course of collecting a debt is a clear violation of  FDCPA 15 USC 1692e(10). Therefore I believe the name, balance, dates and ownership of this account are incorrect and request this tradeline be marked as disputed in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 USC 1681s-2(a)(3) due to their legal obligation. Torres is also in violation of CFPB Regulation F -12 CFR 1006.34(c)(2)(ii): Providing false or misleading identity information in required disclosures.

    Torres Credit Services, Inc. ("TCS") was attempting to collect an alleged debt (File No. *******) forwarded to it from Commonwealth ****** (Account # **************** account is owned by *******************. TCS is only trying to collect the balance due on account.  A letter was mailed on April 15, 2025, to ************************************************************, with no response from the consumer.  The service was disconnected on July *******, and the last payment was made on March 26, 2024.     On or about May 2025, a collection agent came to a relative house looking through the windows asking for ***** ****. My relative advised the person to quit looking into her house through the windows and leave immediately. I then contacted Torres Credit Services asking for any proof that this was my account and have not been contacted but to find it is outstanding on my credit report. I would like this removed from my account.There is no account number associated with the file, just staing its from Southern California ****** for $1477

    On June 09, 2025 I got an alert from ********** that a new collection had hit my credit from Torres Credit Services for $467.00. I am not liable for this debt with *********** . I do not have a contract with Torres Credit Services. I have no knowledge what this is, nor have I given anyone authority to use my identity to obtain this fraudulent account. They have not provided with any documentation per my request from them.

    After checking my score on Credit Karma, I noticed a collections account from ********************** on my report. They have been reporting to ********** since January 29, 2025, but I have never had any contact with this company. I have not received a letter, email, or even a phone call. They are reporting that I owe $1156 for a SoCal ****** ****, but I do not, and this debt has never even been validated. After looking up the company, I noticed they dont even have a legitimate website that references being a collections agency. Instead, the website lists services such as help with political campaigns, project management, order processing, and staffing/onboarding. This company appears to be a scam.

    Torres Credit Services has placed a collection on my credit report in the amount of $193. They are saying this collection was opened October 18th, 2023 but it was not added to my credit report until May 2025. I have never been contacted by them in an attempt to collect any debt and I do not have an account with them. There is also no phone number, email or website listed online to be able to contact them myself. They are reporting false information and hurting peoples credit.
