    Torres Credit Services, Inc. ("TCS") was attempting to collect an alleged debt (File No. *******) forwarded to it from ******************* ****** (Account #*************.  Attached is the Statement confirming the balance due. When a utility is requested to be connected it is done over the phone and no contract is signed. The connection date was September 11, 2019, at *****************************************************. The service was disconnected on August 29, 2024, and a new address of ********************************************** was given for the final bill to be mailed to. Following receipt of this Complaint,TCS has discontinued collection of this account, requested deletion of its trade line from all credit reports and closed its file. Any further questions need to be directed to Southern ***************************************************** P.O. ************************************ or by calling **************.

    On June 09, 2025 I got an alert from ********** that a new collection had hit my credit from Torres Credit Services for $467.00. I am not liable for this debt with *********** . I do not have a contract with Torres Credit Services. I have no knowledge what this is, nor have I given anyone authority to use my identity to obtain this fraudulent account. They have not provided with any documentation per my request from them.

    After checking my score on Credit Karma, I noticed a collections account from ********************** on my report. They have been reporting to ********** since January 29, 2025, but I have never had any contact with this company. I have not received a letter, email, or even a phone call. They are reporting that I owe $1156 for a SoCal ****** ****, but I do not, and this debt has never even been validated. After looking up the company, I noticed they dont even have a legitimate website that references being a collections agency. Instead, the website lists services such as help with political campaigns, project management, order processing, and staffing/onboarding. This company appears to be a scam.

    Torres Credit Services has placed a collection on my credit report in the amount of $193. They are saying this collection was opened October 18th, 2023 but it was not added to my credit report until May 2025. I have never been contacted by them in an attempt to collect any debt and I do not have an account with them. There is also no phone number, email or website listed online to be able to contact them myself. They are reporting false information and hurting peoples credit.

    I never received any communication or documentation from FAIR COLLECTIONS & OUTSOURCING regarding this debt. The account was added to my credit report without my knowledge or consent. I have no contract with them and no record of this debt. I demand it be removed immediately.

    They are trying to collect on a debt that has been settled, and the amount they are claiming is owed is incorrect. The alleged date is from several years ago, but they just hit my credit report a few days ago, without even attempting to contact me about it either. This has bombed my credit score, and should have never happened as they don't have any legal right to collect on a debt that is settled.

    I'm not sure what other information would be helpful. When I checked my credit report a few days ago, it showed that torres collection reported an alleged debt from July of 2024 in the amount of $1459, and the debt was originally owed to the power company. I have a payment plan with said power company but am not behind on payments, and the amount I owed them was not what torres is claiming.

    On May 5 2025 I noticed I had a recent collection of $1077 by this company torres credit services . I do not know how that company obtained my information, The collections account was opened on February 24 2025.I know absolutely nothing about this debt. I do not owe this debt. This collection account hurt my ********************** and it has to get removed and fixed.

    On 4/22/2025 i received an alert from the credit bureau notifying me that on 4/17/2025 Torres Credit Services reported a balance of $313 on my credit without verifying the debt or contacting me in any way. I have yet to receive contact from this collections agency to provide proof of the debt or information on this collection. No validation notice was sent to me. I believe that this debt is not mine, or I believe the amount reported is incorrect. I am requesting that you immediately cease all reporting of this debt to credit bureaus until you have properly validated the debt and provided me with the necessary documentation.
