I had an outstanding $635 bill with Southern California ******* which I assume was sent to Torres Credit because I suddenly have a **** on my credit score for owing $635 to them. They have never contacted me or returned my calls, and the **** is still showing on my credit score even though I paid my outstanding bill with ******* Very scammy, and they have marred my credit without cause.

Received an email that a derogatory **** had been added to my credit report. Checked it to find Torres Credit Services had reported a debt for $545. This is the first I have heard of this. As of this complaint, Torres Credit Services has not contacted me by any means regarding any debts. Seems this is a common thing for this company report debts and ruin peoples credit scores. I would like this removed from my credit report immediately.

So, instead of going after the person who used my info, I'm stuck explaining some ******** that has nothing to do with me... Credit is the biggest f****** jew scam in the world.

On July 8th, 2024, Torres Credit Services had reported a delinquent amount that I owe to **************************************. I do not owe any money to this company and I have never been contacted whether through mail, phone, or IMS. This has now shown up in my credit report and caused a major fall in my credit score I have worked hard to maintain my adult life. I am requesting them to delete any account and reporting of a false amount being owed as soon as possible.

Torres Credit Services, Inc. sent me some fraudulant and suspicious request to pay a debt to Members 1st *** for a "closed" account....that is not closed. When I wrote back requesting information, and contract for said account, I got another response that looks like a 5th grader wrote it on ********* word. Torres Credit Services *** failed to contact me before reporting the alleged debt to the credit bureaus. To my understanding, I should have received phone call or letter by mail prior to them reporting. This disregard for due process and failure to provide proper notice violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other relevant consumer protection laws. The derogatory **** on my credit report, as a result of Torres Credit Services, Inc. 's actions, has had a significant negative impact on my creditworthiness. In light of the above, I kindly request that the Better Business Bureau investigate this matter thoroughly; I believe their actions are not only a violation of fair debt collection practices but also indicative of deceptive practices that can harm consumers.

According to the negative on my credit, it is from **************************, a **************************. It states it was opened in the past 2 months. I have lived in ******** since January, 2019 and have NOT opened any account with ************************** in over 5 years. The negative on my Credit Score does NOT give an Account Number or a Service Address or even a date the account was opened. This negative was put on my credit purely from my name, nothing else. When I call Torres, they cannot give me any information unless I give them my Social Security Number, which I will NOT due, since they would then have it to attach to the collection.
