1 starMy experience with LightintheBox has been nothing short of fraudulent and disappointing. Their business practices are riddled with deception and false advertising, making it virtually impossible for customers to make informed decisions.False Advertising:Product images and descriptions on their website and ads blatantly misrepresent the actual quality and condition of the items received. What I received was a cheap, poor-quality imitation that barely resembled the advertised product. This is a classic bait-and-switch tactic that is unacceptable and dishonest.Fake Reviews:Leaving negative reviews is deliberately hampered by requiring an app download, after which the review section becomes unnavigable or hidden. This suggests a systematic effort to silence dissatisfied customers and present a falsely positive online image.Double Deception:Unfortunately, I was not the only victim according to online forums. I fell for this scheme twice, hoping the first experience was an isolated incident. However, both orders resulted in the same abysmal quality and false advertising. Conclusion: ************ engages in unethical and predatory practices designed to mislead and exploit customers. Avoid them at all costs! I urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate these deceptive practices and hold them accountable for their blatant disregard for consumer trust and fair business practices.Light In The Box

1 starThe products do not work as described. The shoe insole ripped as I tried it for the first time and did not provide heat as advertised. The fabric picture/wall hanging has a major flaw and the white **************** edges ruins entire picture. The heated socks do not provide heat. 1 starBEWARE...Terrible return policy! I ordered 2 shoes that were too small and too wide for my feet. In order to return them, I had to pay shipping costs to ***** which was almost half the price of the shoes. You cannot speak to anyone on the phone. I had to deal with '*****' from customer service. They make it extremely pricey and hard to return items. Exceptionally poor customer service.Light In The Box

1 starI have ordered a dress which looked attractive on picture but terrible in real life. Fabric is very thin and cheap looking with uneven color. Ordered date Nov.17, 2023 on Light In The Box website. After requesting refund (as I have no use for this dress) I was told that **************** will contact me within 24 hours with the address where I can send the dress back to them.They did contact me via my email, and suggested partial credit towards future purchase, or if I absolutely want a refund I can do it, only(!), by downloading their App. Naturally, cost of shipping back to ***** will be on me. There was no return address, customer service phone number, not even email address, no any other way to contact Light In The Box, I don't have a habit of downloading retailer's Apps and I feel uncomfortable being forced to do it, in order to get my money back.So, my loss! I made the purchase based on their advertising of easy refund, if not satisfied, and now my refund depends on their specific terms, not mentioned up front.I lost 36 CAD dollars, they lost a client forever. 1 starI would give them zero. They have fake pictures of products and send you garbage. When going to return the item they do not give a RA, they offer half refund or 70% off another item. When I asked for the half refund. They wanted to give me a credit for merchandise. Buyer beware.Light In The Box

They claim item was a custom order which is not true. But they will not return. Their were no warnings when I ordered the item that this was a final sale item, of course.
