4 starsThere could be instructions for porting phone numbers from the previous carrier included in the quick start instructions. I had to call support to find out this was necessary.Consumer Cellular

We will need the account information from the current provider's service, including the account holder's first and last name, account number, port-out/transfer PIN and the billing zip code. 4 starsLove the ease of purchasing a device and plan with clear information. Only 2 issues. 1) Don't pay for express shipping. When the post office misses the guaranteed expedited delivery, Consumer Cellular won't file the claim as the purchaser for your refund. 2) No voicemail number or password included in the instructions for setup. Just call and get it when you call about porting your number.Consumer Cellular
