      It was very easy to chat with customer service and later to call and talk with them. Unfortunately, they did not find what was keeping my wife and I from being able to make and receive calls. They got both of our phones to a point where we could successfully place a call to a Consumer Cellular test line. Then later when we wanted to make a call, the phones would not dial and connect. The next day though the phones were working again. I suspect that something was going on with the cellular network that caused the lack of service on the 1st of the month and then got changed again by the 2nd of the month. So I was pleased with the support we received and the people we worked with, but disappointed in the outcome.

      ** DOES NOT RESPECT THEIR R BLIND CUSTOMERS Inquired about getting a new phone back in May. I explained my need for an EASY TO USE phone and I wanted to try a smartphone.Sales told me that as a LEGALLY BLIND person, the ******** would be best. I ordered it and a service plan.This phone is nearly useless to me. I can make calls out from a contact list that someone made for me, , but that's not always so easy. It's a complicated phone and I can't read it or navigate it. I have called customer service for help more than once in the past and was directed to go online for the manual. They don't listen, they don't get it. I NEED IN PERSON HELP BUT HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND ANYONE IN THE PAST 7 MONTHS.I spoke with two customer service **** today, one a "supervisor" who basically told me I was SOL.Thanks CC, for nothing.

All of the smartphones that we sell offer accessibility features, and we do offer a return period on all of our phones where the phone can be returned or exchanged if it does not fit your needs.

      This comment provided to me by the business is utterly generic and dismissive: 1. One would hope that a sales *** would try to fit a phone with a person's needs. The comment in the response, "...right fit ...with the information provided by the customer ..." seems to imply that did not provide adequate information, thus it Is MY FAULT that the phone was not a good match for me. How much clearer can I make it than to tell them that I am blind. 2. Smartphone have accessibility features. Yes, I know. Herein lies the problem: Other than enlarging the charecters and making the background black, no one has been able to ACCESS anything else. 3, There is a return policy. I get it. Unfortunately for me, the return period ended while I was waiting for help. Here is my concluding comment:Despite CC claims to be the phone service for seniors, they appear to be more calousley committed to keeping tech support to a bottom-line (profit) friendly level. The fact that ** did not offer any possible solutions for me is insensitive, appalling and a bad busIness practice . I will be terminating my services with **** immediately.

      Very happy with my purchase so far. Smooth transition switching info to my new phone. The phone came much quicker than I anticipated. I ordered late Friday afternoon and received new phone on Monday (***** to ********). Thank you!

      I got my old phone through ********* a Stratus 5. Just lost ******** and so I'm having my service and number switched to here. Got my new phone, a ******** *********** 2024, through the mail. Needed to activate it and setup the new phone and called the Customer service/Activation number for help. The service person activated my new phone BEFORE it was setup and so my old service terminated BEFORE I could setup my phone which also terminated my service call. I finished setting up my phone as best as I could. But the phone said there was no *** card so I could not use it for calls or texts. So I went to my neighbor to use her phone to call for help again, since I have no service on either phone. The service person had me check for the *** card. It was in the phone. After some testing he said that either the *** card is bad or the phone they sent me has a bad card ********* as of now, 11/8/24 at 5 AM (could not sleep), I have no phone service on either phone. But I have a very important phone call coming in about 4 to 8 hours that I can not miss. This is for surgery that must be done next week. Because it needs to be done ASAP the surgeon is setting it up at one of 4 hospitals, whichever can take me the earliest. It is the hospital that will call me to setup everything. Missing this call could have health repercussions. I also have kidney dialysis in 4 hours, from 9 AM to 2 PM so I can not go to target to get this resolved until possibly AFTER the hospital attempts to call me.This is a major problem. --- I tried submitting this to a chat agent but none is available right now.

      This transfer from **** to Consumer has been the absolute BEST experience over all the years I have owned a cell phone! Every employee interaction from ***** #1 to **** to ***** #2, then ***** was so helpful! Such kind, respectful, patient, thorough and professional customer service was provided! I truly appreciate Consumer Cellular making this transition of cell service for my parents so peaceful with little to no stress! THANK YOU!!!
