      I ordered a functional trainer from *** ******* on Sunday 1/7 and it shipped from PA to rural MS in 49hrs from pickup to drop off. That’s faster than most ****** ***** orders I place and it came via nonstop trucks! The pallet was in great condition and the driver was kind enough to wheel it into my carport. I was skeptical of the service due to many lackluster reviews and Better Business Bureau ratings, but I cannot be more satisfied with my service today from my driver in Steens, MS. The pallet and packaging was in impeccable condition and all of the very expensive contents completely unharmed. Great job!

      Absolute terrible experience. I ordered a piece of equipment costing $3500. The shipper delivered the product to my residence with a lift gate operated box truck. The driver failed to use the lift gate and placed the freight at the rear of the vehicle. Said driver then gets back in the vehicle and accelerates. This causes the freight to slam top down on my concrete driveway. This caused substantial scratches and damage to the frame of the equipment. After doing so the driver the continues to leave while striking my mailbox on the way out. I submitted a claim and was absolutely low balled on the offer for damages and horrible experience with their company. The claims supervisor was extremely brash with the email I received. The whole incident was caught on a ring doorbell camera. I do not suggest using them as a carrier what so ever.

      While the ****** product may be great, I'd avoid doing any business wit* **** ***** *** ******* *********, and their shipping company R+L Carriers. I ordered a pallet of flooring for a project and they sent the wrong color/line of carpet. I was not there to sign for or inspect the carpet, so they just dropped it at my front door (2 days before they said it would be arriving). Fortunately, I went by the job site and saw the pallet outside before the rain started. When I noticed it was the wrong item, I called to have them return and pick it up. The ********* rep told me they haven't had the carpet I ordered in stock for months and do not expect to have it for a couple more. Why in the world would **** ***** *** ****** be selling it then?! They advised they would have to schedule at a later date a return pick-up and I would have to unload and move the entire pallet inside of the building. I moved everything inside and returned a different day to meet with the carrier. I called R+L the morning of the return and they advised they would be to the site between 1pm and 5pm. I gave them my phone number in case of any issues and went to the site to move everything outside and re-pallet it for them per their request. Once 5pm came and no one showed, I called them again and they said their driver tried calling me, but apparently had the wrong number. They then told me they wouldn't be able to come and that I would again have to move the entire pallet back inside. As of right now I have almost 8 hours invested into trying to return their mistakes, as well as a tired back from lifting and moving boxes 3 times for absolutely no reason. *********, R+L Carriers, and **** ***** *** ****** have made no attempts to remedy their multiple mistakes. It's one thing to have someone steal your money, but when they begin to rob you of your time....it isn't something you can ever recoup. I'm very disappointed in how they run their operation and will NEVER buy from them again.

      R & L Carriers, Inc., Delivered an electric motor that had been hit so hard the shaft was moved and casting support was totally broken. Electrical box on the side of the motor had been pulled off and screws missing. This damage was found a week later when we went to fully unbox the motor, the second we saw damages, we stopped and I took photos, submitted a Freight Claim, etc. My Claim was rejected, I called and spoke to someone in their claims department that talked down to me like I was a young child and blamed the motor manufacturer's shipping policies and basically blamed my company for the damage caused, this motor is completely worthless to me and sitting in our shop still. I'm going to refuse to pay my supplier for this motor until I'm reimbursed 100% for it and the freight charges. The person at R&L told me on the phone today that b/c we signed for the delivery initially and waited just a few days longer than 5 days, my claim is denied. We had to have a technical person inspect the motor more closely for damage that a person in shipping signing the *** isn't going to notice without completely unboxing/ uncrating. So are the driver's going to wait for us to inspect everything like we should, no way! I'm very upset about how we're being treated and I'm not going to stop until R&L Carriers makes it right, 100% right, not just up to 5$ per pound, that's not close to what I paid for this motor from ***. This isn't right. The motor will not even rotate being this damaged, it's more damage than what we could cause intentionally.

      Dropped an $8000 crate engine, did $1000 worth of damage, stuffed it back in the crate sideways, then denied my damage claim.

      I shipped a table that was fabricated at my company. The table was steel had a machined surface, we painted it when completed. So we we placed it on a large heavy pallet placed all kind of blocks screwed down , banded, shrink wrapped to keep in place. It reached its destination and I get the call , its damaged. The truck driver is there . There telling me it looked as though it had been turned over and then used forklift to push it back over which caused more damage to the top. It cost me close to **** dollars in shipping back to me by R and L , repairs and shipping back By R and L. I made a claim , within one day they came back declining my claim telling me its my fault for not packaging properly. You would think maybe a call to discuss it. Im thinking the table was sent back to me after it was damaged on the same pallet I sent it on with no additional damage. They can always blame the customer for not packaging correctly to get out of there negligence in handling. They have lost me business for sure and Im pretty sure I want be the only one. I been shipping from my company for 28 years and have had 2 claims which both were taken care of by the trucking company.

      I had to go physically pick my material up from the warehouse...after too many excuses for delivery. This company should not be allowed to be in the shipping business. R&L is an embarrassment to the American economy!

      I inherited this business relationship as a result of purchasing goods through a third party. I can not understate how frustrating working with this transportation company has been. I had a pickup canceled and didn't hear a word from them. My retail store team informed me of the cancellation. They painted a picture of their interaction with the driver that left me with a feeling of disgust. The driver was non-communicative and outright inhospitable when asked clarifying questions. His blanket response was, "****** it." You would think he would help resolve this situation so we could reschedule, but apparently, customer service is not included in his job description. I contacted their local Customer Service number and asked for objective evidence to support pickup cancellation. I was transferred to three different departments but did not receive an answer. The theme of poor customer service continues. We rescheduled pickup for another day. I asked the customer service rep if we needed any additional documentation and if any amendments were needed in the original manifest(BOL). I kid you not, we used the exact same manifest (BOL) for the second pickup and did not receive an ounce of pushback from the new driver. While reviewing the form, the new driver mentioned all necessary information was present. Go figure. They cost me time and money. I wish I had a reason to justify both expenses; I still don't. It appears as though my stress is a result of a tempestuous driver and a company culture that does not value its customers. Their corporate customer service team seems helpful, but at this point, it's simply too little too late. You're better off renting a truck.
