1 starTheir customer service is awful. I keep on hearing that they are the best in the business but take no responsibility for their time of delivery of the finish product. The projected time was changed a few times and the final time it was delayed more because their professional workers broken one of the windows on a door. All this to say and no discount or something to say sorry for the prolonged wait. I’ve spend tens of thousands of dollars on two projects and both have had problems. Will never use again.ProVia LLC

1 starWe are having an issue with one of their doors. When we got the first door it was warped. The person installing it had a lot of problems with it. when we brought it up to them, and they did send a new slab but not the frame. So now the good door is in a bad frame, so the door is hard to shut, and the frame is all messed up since it has been re screwed into so many times. The other issue is the screen door. We have had three of them and they keep sagging and rubbing on the threshold. they are junk. The person we have been dealing with even admitted to them having issues with them in manufacturing. So much on spending a decent amount of money and ending up with junk!!! I would have been better off going to a big box store and putting it in myself.ProVia LLC

We researched the history of the unit identified in this Customer Review. We cannot comment on the initial installation since it was performed through a dealer of ProVia's manufactured products. Subsequently, complaints about the storm door were received and replacement was reordered. Our records indicate additional storm doors were reordered due to the mitered corners not being completely aligned. As of earlier in February 2024, a full refund was given to the dealer for the cost of the storm door. As for the entry door, a complaint about the slab being warped was received, and verified by ProVia's Account Manager, and a replacement was reordered under warranty. Once the reordered slab was installed, it was determined the frame was now warped. ProVia should have reordered the entire door unit when the slab was reordered. This would have been due to multiple storm door replacements and allowing the installer to reinstall the entry door unit from a fresh start. The frame has been reordered under warranty and this should resolve the issues being experienced with the entry door unit.Review fromshari k

1 starThis door is the worst in the market. leaks cold air into my MN home and I can still see light out the top. I want all my money back so I can go to a company that actually QC's their products. it was obviously made wrong. and instead of just making a new one, you keep trying to make this *** work. its not working. its a door. it has one function!ProVia LLC

Your Review led us to research what you are stating as the issue with your entry door unit. ProVia contacted the ****** ******** of MN, who was the dealer you purchased the unit from. They placed reorders for weatherstripping first, then later a door slab. The summary after the replacement of both items was the unit was operating fine and there wasn't any visible daylight. As a result of your Review, representatives from ****** ******** of MN and ProVia will be scheduling an onsite visit with you to review what is causing these issues and to determine a full resolution course of action, up to and including a completely new unit. ProVia's goal is to have your entry door performing up to your expectations.Review fromTommy C

1 starI purchased your door complete with installation from **********, on or about April, 19, 2023, the door and window was installed on or about May 23, 2023.
We left shortly after for our summer home in Michigan.
The person looking after the house very soon reported going to the house and finding the door open. I told her to engage the dead bolt.
When we returned from Michigan we quickly discovered that under no conditions does the door latch.
I have attempted to contact ********** by phone repeatedly without success, I have emailed them without success. It is my understanding
That the door is warranted.
I would appreciate some response.ProVia LLC

1 starThis company is horrible does not care about time and deadlines. Been trying to get my windows since May 2023 it is now November! I was just told they forgot to put them on the truck and now have to wait again! What is next they were never made? We were specifically told no later than the 7th and they miss the truck by 8 hours. That is not by accident that is on purpose!ProVia LLC

****** ****, we apologize for your disappointment in the lead time for your window order. However, we thank you for your Review. Here's clarification on your concerns. The company you made your initial purchase from went out of business after you placed your order with them. This prevented ProVia, as the manufacturer, from manufacturing the order as we solely sell our finished products through a dealer and distributor network. In late summer another dealer in your area came forward and agreed to take on most of the orders from this dealer who went out of business. Once everything was finalized between them and us, ProVia proceeded to manufacture your order at the end of September. Since then, 24 of your 32 windows were completed and delivered to this dealer on October 24. The remaining 8 were delayed due to inline quality issues which didn't meet ProVia's quality standards. They are now complete and will ship out on November 9 and should arrive at the dealer's location on the 14th. The truck making the delivery on November 7 had already left the factory and was en route to the western U.S. prior to these windows being completed. Again, we are very sorry about the delays for these 8 windows but there wasn't any intentional delay for these windows to be shipped out.Review fromKenneth R

2 starsThere has been nothing but problems with this installation since I ordered it. 1. Took over 3 months to get door. 2. I pointed out obvious defect in weatherstripping between glass panes to installer, he made the comment that he was just the installer, finished up handed us the keys and left! Door wouldn’t shut or lock. 3. Contacted Gene the owner he came out and said he would send service tech to make adjustments but won’t do anything about weather stripping. 4. 2nd service tech, door not installed level large gap from top to bottom not level. 5. 3 rd tech on the way. Still refusing to address weather strip issueProVia LLC

Thank you for purchasing a vinyl sliding patio door manufactured by ProVia. We are sorry to hear of the issues you're experiencing with the door. We contacted The dealer you purchased the door from to find out what transpired with the door unit and they acknowledged they created operational issues with their installation of the door. They have reordered a complete new door unit and it is being manufactured at the time of this response. Replacement of the current door with this new one should alleviate the current issues you are experiencing. If the weatherstrip issue you are referencing is a manufacturing defect, the new door should resolve that as well. We hope the new door will provide you with the satisfaction expected with your purchase.Review fromCindy O

2 starsWe had all of our doors done and have been in contact with the company for issues we have been having. The doorknobs do not fit correct and come loose and scrape the paint on the doors. Seals are okay I guess but getting in touch with ******************** who the contact is I have not been able to get resolution. We saved our money to be able to have this done to improve our house look and efficiency only to be met with they got their money.ProVia LLC

Thank you for your purchase of entry Door units manufactured by ProVia. We also appreciate your review and apologize for the issues with the handles coming loose. We did contact ********* ******* ****** to notify them of your Review and the problems you state you're having with the handles. They responded that they had just replaced a handle with a new one in early October and thought that took care of the issue you were having. We requested them to contact ProVia's Installation Support team for some assistance on handle installation and the capability to keep them tightened. You are also welcome to contact this team if you are tightening up these handles yourselves. An unfortunate result of loose handles is the paint will get rubbed off by the escutcheon plates of the handles. If onsite service is needed, please contact ********* ******* ******.Review fromDonna B

5 starsAs someone who is a Licensed Home Inspector in the state of Virginia and has sold Provia doors in the DMV for 13+ years, I can say unequivocally that Provia is BY FAR the best entry door on the market. It’s not even close. I was a door sales trainer (bc I sold so many doors) at a huge company that is on the radio in DC constantly. At one point they wanted to sell ****** *** as a “more affordable” aka downgrade option. I learned everything there was to know about **, and I told our Director of Sales I would not even present ** in the house bc Provia is so much better all the way around with a REAL warranty. My company dropped **. The way doors are in the market is Provia is a Mercedes, and the next closest door is a Hyundai. Mercedes doesn’t care what Hyundai is doing, they care about their own quality. When the difference between a new Mercedes and Hyundai is about 10-15%, why would you choose a Hyundai?! On your HOME!! Just do some of your own market research, read warranties, and the “choice” is really a choice at all. Spend a little more in the short term to get a LOT more in the long term. Piece of mind of knowing you have THE BEST DOOR on the market for at least the last 13 years. Thank you, Provia.ProVia LLC

Thank you, ***** ********, for this Review of our entry door program. We appreciate you using your real-life experience with our products in comparing ProVia's entry doors to those from competitors. Your expertise is valued by those who do their research and are looking for long-term performance from their purchase of a new entry door system. Thanks again.
