2 stars******** customer service. When I originally signed the contract they said installation would be 9/9/24. Well 9/9 came and I waited around all day and no one called or showed up. Again I waited the next day and the same thing happened. I called in a couple of times and they said they would have the local office call me. No call. I called again and they said oh you are scheduled for 11/12/24. Nice of them to let me know! I finally get a call the Sunday before. Yep they will be there on Tuesday. Nope, didnt show up and no phone call! Finally showed up on Wednesday morning. The installer was very nice but said I would receive photos of the installation. I have never received any photos. I was not able to be home when the installer finished due to an emergency so never got to talk to him about it. There are areas of the installation that appear different than others so I dont know if they are installed correctly or not.

An inspector was sent to my house on 12/5/25 He performed his inspection of the Leaf Filter installation and informed me that it had failed the inspection because it was not properly installed. I said now what and he told meet give it a couple of days since this was a Thursday but that someone should be in touch with me to fix the installation. He said if I didn't hear anything to call him. I said thank you and he left. Monday morning 12/9/24 I receive a call from the ***********, Il. office that someone would be at my house in a couple of hours to repair the installation. No-one showed and no-one called. I called the number that called me in the morning and left a message that no-one had showed up. I received no call back. Tuesday morning my blood was starting to boil so I called the ******************* number. I told the representative my story and she said she would have the local office call me in the afternoon. I asked her who the local office was and she told me **********, ****, so I asked why would someone from ***********, ******** be calling me about doing the repair? She said she did not know. Later that day I received a call from someone at Leaf Filter named *****. I assumed he was from the local office in **********. He said he thought my repair had been done because the ticket had been closed out by someone. He apologized and said he would have someone here 12/13/24 to make the necessary repairs. Well 12/13/24 rolls around and I receive a call from a Missouri telephone number. The gentleman says that the local office wants the same guy that didn't install it right the first time to come back and fix it! That he could come on Sunday or Monday. I can't believe the ***************** would send the same guy that didn't install it right the first time back. He lives in ********. Anyways, I am hoping this nightmare ends soon and would never recommend Leaf Filter to anyone!Review fromJohn H

1 starI would give a zero if it were an option. The screens are off AGAIN! This will be
the third time I have had them repaired and "I", the owner is charged to fix them. The screws used to attach screens are staining the gutters. Wish I could attach photos of the mess!LeafFilter Gutter Protection

5 stars********* ***** was the sales **** and he kindly and patiently explained the entire gutter system to us. In addition, ***** ******** who did the actual work, did everything as careful as he could! Well done *****! Now we are hoping that there are few if any follow-up issues. 1 starNot the experience I was promised. The installer left piles of debris from the ***** as well as debris hosed into the flowerbeds. He also left dirty handprints on the downspout.Overpriced product.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

3 starsI was taken back a bit by the initial high price I was quoted! I think it is a deceptive way to get the customer to be shocked at such a ridiculous high price and then be offered a price that makes sense. Dont get me wrong, i am happy with the product. I just think that making the customer feel slightly pressured is a wrong way to present a product in a face to face situation. I get the whole idea of a sales pitch, but on the other hand, I feel my intelligence was insulted. Just be up front and honest from the get go! Thanks.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

3 starsA decent product and an excellent guarantee, but extremely expensive. $12,000 for 400 feet of installation plus 20 corners (total of inside and outside 90-degree angles). Installation, which was very neat and efficient as far as I can tell, took two people 8 hours, a full day. The estimator predicted the job would take two or even three days. I'm suspicious that that is why the cost was higher than I thought it would be. No follow up visit or call.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starSales person **** and crew lead promised more than once that they would come back to rehang professionally hung Christmas lights. It was a condition of my allowing the work and is in writing. They now wont return texts or calls. It is clear they had no intention of returning to do the work. This was $600 that I am out. They also did not clean marks on the gutters right above the front door where easily seen.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

2 starsRating this company in this format is difficult for me. As far as the product goes, it will ease my gutter cleaning workload (and it's treachery) immensely. The filters are only a few weeks old so I cannot comment on the quality of their product - hence, the 2 stars. However, their customer service is atrocious. Following the quote, they were supposed to start work the next day. The following day, no one came and no one called. This continued for 7 days. Due to their lack of communication, I was unable to attend a funeral (because, they assured me they were coming that day) and with the amount they charge, I wanted to monitor their work. In addition to the funeral, I also was unable to attend a bizzare where I had committed to work. Mind you, I was certain they would come that day. I was wrong. As I had no trouble contacting them for an estimate, I know their telephones worked (as it did when it was time to pick-up the check I had made out 8 days before). Due to their extremely poor communication, I will not be referring them to my neighbors.
