      My parents got the leaf filter gutter protection but my dad, husband or my brother has to go up there every few weeks on a tall ladder, to collect the leaves that are thrown from trees and landing up on the roof or the gutter tops of those gutters because they get stuck in the holes and on top. Being an older man we do not like our dad to go up the ladder and coming down, which he had fallen on one of the bottom steps already and broke his finger.

      I rarely write reviews but I had no other options after dealing with an unresponsive outfit with questionable marketing tactics and including deceptive claims. I was lulled into complacency believing in Leaf Filter only to discover that I had major overflow issues as well as clogging that resulted in continuous drip, drip, drip which was disintegrating the mortar and brick on my house. Warranty is worthless as it doesnt cover repairs due to failure of their system and they dont disclose that there is a service fee for having them come out to correct problems. My particular service manager was quite **** when I disputed fee and hung up with have a good day.I regret spending thousands on a worthless system that will end up costing me thousands more when I was doing fine with twice a year gutters cleaning.

      To be clear, all I did was respond to a Leaf Filter ad asking for a quote. That was about six weeks ago. I then read some reviews about overly aggressive sales tactics and over priced work. I have since received about 100 voicemails and messages. They are clearly from some kind of overseas telemarketing company. Its too much. No way to win a customer. I think Ill just have my *********************** cleaned once a year. Steer clear of this company.

      I had leaf filter installed 3 month ago and the Young man that installed it bent all my gutters it looks terrible now!!!!!!!And they just hire Mexican sub contractors NO MARKINGS ON VEHICLE OR UNIFORMS VERY UNPROFFESIONAL

      I found out 5 months later the Filters on the gutters were never installed (paid for them). I was having a issue with a end cap leaking . First repair man caulked. Next repair person two months later told me I had leaves in the gutter (I said I better not). He then looked at my contract and said they were never installed. Leaf Filters reaction was, I am sorry!!! I am a senior and could not get up there to look, nor should I have had to. Just watch them. The second two repair team to come installed them.

      This company is definitely on the do not use list. Had the filter system installed in December,. Told installer and the high pressure sales person that one of the down spouts was plugged. They said they would remedy the clog before installing the screens. They most definitely did not. My wife and I have continued to call for service to no avail. They will tell us that someone will be there on a certain day and time, no one showed up. This has happened multiple times. They also tell us someone will call back, no calls returned. Frustrated beyond words. The reason we installed this product is i can't use a ladder. I wish we would have used a different contractor for sure. Thank you **** *********

      I went to the *************** fair and gave somebody at the fair my number that was at a booth.Since then, Ive gotten multiple calls every single day from different phone numbers. Ive asked to be taken off the list multiple times, but this company calls our office and my phone day and day out. Even if we block the number, they call from a different number.. This is one of the most scammy companies *** ever dealt with in my entire life.

      Received a coupon from Leaf Filter in the mail advertising 15% + 10% if military or senior. Called and a *** came out quickly.1) The sales method was hard-sell ALL THE WAY, despite them denying that it was hard-sell.2) The salesman showed pictures of bird nests in gutters with eggs. The eggs appeared to be CHICKEN eggs, and, if they weren't, the "twigs" used to make the nest were actually branches too heavy for a bird to lift. i.e. FAKE.3) The salesman stole my coupon. Why? If I wanted to follow up with them, I couldn't because all the contact info was on the coupon.4) The salesman was unable to make any deals without conferring with / moving the decision up to a superior. This is the way auto dealers work and is despicable.5) The salesman said the filters would stop sand and showed a picture of sand filling a gutter. If the filter stops the sand, what stops the filter from being clogged with sand?6) The salesman tried to put down / denigrate all other gutter / filter installers, saying they were vastly inferior in the quality of materials, quality of installation, and quality of guarantee / warranty. The salesman tried to say that all the other businesses couldn't stay in business for more than 3 years they were so bad. NOT a good sales tactic.7) The salesman tried to pull a guild trip by saying if I wouldn't make a go-ahead decision today, he made the trip for nothing, and it was my fault. Again, not a good sales tactic.8) The salesman applied the coupon discounts incorrectly, applying the 10% first and the 15% to the remaining balance. The coupon was for 15% + 10% if a senior, not 10% and then 15% discount. So he should have taken a 25% discount, which on my total would have made the quote over $220 lower.9) I had told the salesman I was a CPA and had worked 30+ years in construction. Despite that, he had such a low opinion of my knowledge and skills, that he tried to bamboozle me as described above.NOT a good experience!

      FirstI do not recommend Leaf Filter to anyone. Especially Weatern PA. When family, friends and neighbors heard I had the system installed they wanted to know if they should do it. My response NO, dont do it. Leaf Filter installed their gutter guards in July and each time it rains water flows over the guttercant put screen in window due to the water pouring over gutter. Took weeks to get a repair done which still has not corrected the situation. I have called numerous times to local office and to corporate office in ********************* response. I feel ripped off and robbed. No concern for customer service or pride in what they offer. Their CEO is consistently on TV talking the talk but is clueless as to what is going on out in the field. LF is a subscriber to the BBB and is required by BBB to respond to customer issues to maintain accreditation. Next ************ *******************************************. BK-9/9/2025
