I did not have a good experience with this company. The representative that came to evaluate my home and give me a quote seemed pleasant and knowledgeable enough. He gave me a quote of $7500! This is not an amount I can sign off immediately. When I told him I wanted to think about it he said the discounts were good only for today otherwise the cost was over $10,000! The rep lied to me about the legality of giving a SS number over the phone and I felt strong armed into signing the contract.After thinking about the cost, I called customer service who did nothing to help me cancel the contract, she only wanted off the phone. A manager never called back. I called customer service again the next day and the service rep could not give me an address to send the written notice of cancellation to. Finally, a person from management called me, but he promptly told me he was from accounting and not services. I asked for the correct address to mail the cancellation and he told me to look at the fine print on the bottom of the page and then I could apologize to him!The company bullies you to sign the contract, and when clearer minds prevail and unresponsive, rude and unhelpful. I will get my gutter guards elsewhere!

The idea behind it is a good one but it doesn't stop the clogging issues. The debris sits on top of it and the water runs over the top. Do not buy it. As for the lifetime warranty, they want 100 dollars to come out and look at the problem.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

Great installment! Gutters look amazing! Went above and beyond on my downspouts. Installers worked the entire time they were here. Worst service in my life from un professionalism to performance and communication. Tried to use my card after I canceled . From the regional manager down all where rude and made false claims .. Am in the ********, ** are and just had new gutters, the leaf filter and new facia installed. I found the sales (****) and the service (my *******) to be pleasant, informed, and very helpful. The install team left my yard very clean, they were professional and seemed to know their stuff. And they worked quickly, Now I am just waiting for the rain and snow to see how this works. My back gutter is under a pine, so we shall see how LeafFilter does, but I am hopeful all will be great with no to minimal maintenance!LeafFilter Gutter Protection

High pressure sales tactics. They first of all come with a ridiculously high estimate, then will tell you that there is a special deal for this month only and they literally halve their first estimate. Unfortunately we went with them at this price, but we deeply regret it. Honestly feel totally ripped off. The quality of the work does not correlate to the heavy price tag. They use sub contractors to do the installation too. The subcontractor assigned to our job only arrived at midday, and they worked until after 10pm. Im not sure how installing black gutters, soffits and fascias can be done in the dark without any lights?. I personally lent them one of mine to help them. The next day we had a huge mess to clean up.. broken glass, nails, screws, shards of aluminum and bits of vinyl soffit cuttings. The work itself was definitely not neat. New gutters scratched, not hung straight and gutter guards not fitted correctly into the gutters. We called to complain and a different contractor came to view our issues. He agreed that we had valid concerns and inspected the job. He advised that some of the gutter guards were already broken and made a report. Leaf filter then sent one of their own agents who gave a different report, that nothing was broken but that some of the gutter supports were incorrectly installed. He made the adjustments and declared the job complete. So we had 2 independent inspections, both with conflicting diagnosis. In summary.. I regret contracting this company to do my gutters and I will certainly never recommend them to anyone. Friends who had their gutters replaced by a competitor got far superior service , and the job was done much better, for close to a third of the price we paid.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

Our builder didnt install very many gutters on our home and we were getting a lot of soil erosion around our home. We now have needed gutters installed and no need to clean them out! Don't buy from Leaf Filter! .I thought that I needed new gutters completely, so I called two gutter companies. The first one came out, looked at my situation, and stated that my gutters were fine, but that the gutter guards had been installed incorrectly and that was why they were coming up. He stated that he was a sub-contractor with Leaf Filter, so I could not use his name but that I should call them as the install was a bad install. The second gutter company told me the same thing. To that end, I called Leaf Filter's warranty, sent pictures in, paid the $90 for a service call and they sent a guy out. He told me that the gutter guards were pulled up by squirrels and that I would have to pay $600 for the replacement material. I told him that we don't have any squirrels on the roof as we have locked down our house with a pest service and there are no tress for squirrels to get onto the roof.He left as I refused to pay the $600. I waited two weeks and called again. This time, the person at warranty services referred my issue to a supervisor. The supervisor called me back, said he saw the damage in the pictures and would send someone out to replace the bad pieces of the gutter guard. He scheduled it me for the following Thursday. No one showed up on Thursday, but someone did on Friday.Well, they sent the same guy; *****, out and he called me and said the same thing as before. I went through the whole thing explaining the call with the supervisor. ***** explained that he was just a sub-contractor and was doing what he was told. I again refused to pay and he left.Hopefully, this will help viewers to not use Leaf Filter as what you read about them and their issues and lawsuits is certainly valid.LeafFilter Gutter Protection
