      Dustin (case manager), George and Jason (recovery experts) did a great job. 100% of my data was recovered. I had a custom laptop which died and it required special expertise to access my SSD drives. You are given a case number and you can check the status of your recovery through their website. If you have questions along the way, just schedule a 15 min appointment with your case manager (who will provide a link to a scheduling calendar). It takes a few weeks to recover files and you can download them or request a thumb drive (which they ship back to you along with hard drives). In my case, I was fortunate to live near their recovery center, so I was able to drop off my laptop and pick everything up in person. You can rest assured that your data is safe and won't be released anywhere during the recovery process. It's not cheap ($500 minimum for "uncomplicated" recoveries). If your hard drive was crushed and thrown in a fire, it would cost more. The good thing is that they show you first what they were able to recover before you commit to paying. I would use their service again if I had to. The recovery experts really know their stuff and are trustworthy.

      Really had good help from Chris and Ashley during the entire process. They both explained very well by phone what I'd need to do to extract the precious memories and get them sent to me. They were very reliable in communicating to me.

      Chris will forever remain in my mind a person who...saved my life. My entire life was on a hard drive that crashed. When I sent it for "salvaging" to SalvageData, Chris walked me through the process, day after day. I would have lost my mind without him. He never complained about my constant calls to ask how the rescue of my files was going--in fact, he encouraged me to call as much as I liked. That's good customer service. The best I've ever received. He was always so polite, too. And he knows IT and how to convey it to a lay person like me. I'm not glad my hard drive crashed, but I AM glad Chris was my case manager.
