  I had a micro SD card in my cell phone that I could no longer access. It had some data on it that I needed and that hadn't been backed up. I worked with Wesley. He was great. He was responsive and kept me up to date. The whole process was professional. My expectations were appropriately set and communication through the whole process was great. I was told that there was a hardware failure with my card (don't remember the details), and the failure had caused some data corruption. They had to repair the card and then reconstruct the file system. I didn't have to pay anything until I was given a list of the files that were recoverable. Almost all of my data was recovered. The data was sent back to me on a small thumb drive. The drive also contained the corrupted data that couldn't be cleanly recovered, so I could at least see the file names of what I lost. I was able to copy the data to a new micro SD card, and it worked fine in my phone. Doing this was expensive, but worth it. I paid for standard service. From the time I sent my card in until I got the data back was around a week and a half to two weeks. SalvageData's initial estimate range was lower than other estimates I got. The final cost was within the initial estimate range I was given. I hope I don't ever need data recovery services again, but if I do I will use SalvageData.

  I am extremely pleased to have been referred to Salvage Data Recovery Services in Nyack. I greatly appreciate George and his IT tech’s courtesy, professionalism, and reassurance regarding the task of extracting necessary data from old hard drives, one of which was damaged. George is congenial and elicits the goals sought. My colleague and I are relieved that George and his marvelous tech were successful. It is because of them that we are able to prepare the reports needed timely. I’m impelled to convey that upon entering George’s office, explaining the situation, and listening to his response, I knew within 30 seconds that I went to the right place. Once again, my intuition was great. You will not go wrong by retaining Salvage Data.

  Great Service. They were very helpful in explaining the process of retrieving our data. I hope to never have to se them again, but if we have another disk failure we definitely will.

  Chris was hard to reach and seldomly responsive. He told me that i would not be charged for any services until I reviewed and approved a list of files which they could recover. After reviewing list list and seeing that my files were not recovered, i declined the services, but was still charged despite this and then berated over the phone by a customer service supervisor who made excuses for their neglectful and predatory business practices. i eventually had to file a claim with the better business bureau and contact my bank to try and reverse the charges. the whole process has been a two month long ordeal and a total nightmare, plus i never got any of my data. i highly recommend that you take your drive to a local recovery service where there is greater oversight and accountability. this is a terrible service, wish i could give 0 stars.

  They were able to fully recovery my data from a damaged SSD. Super happy with the results! Big thanks to Stephen on being so responsive and helpful as my drive was being fixed.

  Chris was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful through the process. Most importantly they recovered a corrupt sd card containing footage from a wedding. Really saved me! Can’t thank salvage days enough ??
