      I worked with Hugh @ SalvageData to see if they could fix my issue with my flash drive. The timeline to uncover and repair was a bit longer than anticipated. Hugh, updated me on what that was going to look like. They ultimately were able to recover what appears to be all of my files. I bought an external drive to load recover files. So, outside of the timeline, the experience was good.

      I thought all was lost when my iphone suddenly gave out. Apple told me it was an issue with the motherboard, the phone wouldn’t turn on at all. I got quoted at a different data recovery center for almost $3,000. Then I found SalvageData for half the price. I was nervous on whether they would be able to recover my photos but they were able to with no problem. In less than 2 months I got everything back. Very professional and user friendly.

      SalvageData did an excellent job in recovering my data from a failed hardisk device. I am a software engineer/graphics developer and my hardrive crashed at the most unexpected time. Although I did have some of the data in my cloud storage, a good considerable portion of was still on the drive and I was unable to access my information. SalvageData was able to somehow access the data and push it to a new devices. The cost was about $800 but the man-hours of the development & design work was/is far greater and worth the investment. Now, I have access to my data and even if something happens in the future, I have a service level for them to retrieve the information if needed. I am looking forward to acessing my data when it arrives in the next day or so but I appreciate the work SalvageData put into restoring my drive.

      I submitted a compromised thumb drive in June. Took weeks to hear anything. The one time I was guided to setup a call with my technician to learn more about my case, he stood me up. Another few months for a quote. $1,172. $40-60 to return my drive. How is this legal?

      I called to inquire about data recovery, they told me they didn't have a place I could drop off my phone and it had to be shipped but shipping was "free". They quoted my data recovery at over $800 which I said was way too much for what I had on there. Then they make me pay $40 for 2 day return shipping if I want to get my phone back, it should cost less than $10, the phone is already destroyed I don't need it protected. Wish they would've mentioned this when I called and specifically asked about costs.

      Overall, a good experience. I had a 1tb external harddrive that had some issues. They were not able to recover as much as I wanted but, after talking to a few people and showing them how much I lost compared to how much they could recover, they did give me a little discount. There were times when a response to an email or call was a little longer than I would have expected. They were cheaper than another service I got a quote from.
      I'm thankful and grateful for what they were able to recover but, I wish it could have been more.

      Super happy with the results of using this company. I initially sent my card to another company that charged me $150 for an evaluation and they told me it was unrecoverable. So I thought I'd get a second opinion at a place that evaluates for free and doesn't charge unless they recover what you need and they saved my photos! It is expensive and I did have to follow up instead of them reaching out to me but overall very happy and relieved!

      Had an HDD failure and reached out to SalvageData to see if they could fix my issue. Was lead through the process by Dominic who was very informative and easy to understand, and the timeline of getting my data saved and placed on a new SSD was fair and we kept in consistent contact.
