1 starTwo weeks after our dumpster was picked up I received an email stating that I was being charged for additional weight in the dumpster. We were remodeling a small bathroom and rented a dumpster larger than recommended by the company. They stated that the dumpster contained triple the allowable weight. They provide no proof whatsoever and the dumpster was less than half full when it was picked up. I have renovated many houses in the past and am used to renting dumpsters for construction. I have never had this happen in the past, and there is no way that the weight was valid. Unfortunately there is also no way to contest it. This seems like a total scam, and I would not trust or recommend this company.Budget Dumpster

1 starOrdered a 30 yard dumpster, paid $585 and a 20 yard was delivered. When I complained they insisted I received the correct container despite the fact I gave them the measurements and the lot number which all came out to a 20 yard container. No refund of the difference was offered and nothing has been done by the company to fix this.Budget Dumpster

1 starI ordered and paid for in advance the dumpster for a set amount of time. I sent an email asking to be reminded when my time is up during its stay at our house. A person (not a computer generated response) emailed me the date. I went on vacation and happened to ask my daughter if the dumpster was still there. It was. So I emailed the company and they said I had to specifically tell them when to pick it up, that those directions are in the contract, so they charged me for the additional weeks which doubled the price. The person that emailed me the original date could have asked if I wanted it longer. They didn’t. This is a scam and I bet I am not the first to have this happen. They showed no remorse or willingness to help. Just charged my card and essentially said, read the contract. Bad customer relations and a rip off.Budget Dumpster

Andrew, We are sad to hear this negatively impacted your rental experience. Our communication is clear that customers are responsible for scheduling the pick up of the dumpster. Unfortunately, this was not scheduled and we had no indication that the dumpster was ready to be picked up. 1 starCan someone dig into these overages they charge? Look I had no problem with communication; they picked up and dropped off on time and were very responsive. But the overages? I have a time-stamped text chain stating that they dropped a dumpster off with debris in it, to which my statement was never acknowledged. Then weeks later I'm sent an email that says I owe money for overages (for literally half the dumpster cost).
All I had in there were plastic toys and some old shelves that I tore down to throw in there. I have no clue how the weight of that dumpster could be three times the allotted weight allowed. Either the dump they use or their overcharges for excess weight is a problem. If you filled this thing up with towels it would be overweight. They said they would send the truck scale receipt, but it had no values other than the weight, which leads me to believe that they are charging quite a bit for excess weight. There is clear negligence in terms of transparency when there's no way to check the weight other than to trust that you can fill the thing. BUYER BEWARE of overages in excess of hundreds of dollars for kids toys, imagine a real construction project vs just a home toy cleanout.
Can we see who else has been charged overage fee's? I have to imagine it's literally every rental.Budget Dumpster

Please be assured that the dumpsters are weighed by a certified weighmaster, in a state regulated process independent of our company.
