      I've rented a dumpster from this company twice now. First time there were issues with the delivery truck, but this was explained with a simple phone call. The dumpster was delivered the next day. The customer service department has been great both times I called. They explained the weight and sizes to me so we could decide what would be best for our remodel. They even compared the overage charges would be cheaper than reserving a larger dumpster. I am very very happy with this company. Also, The delivery person in Goldsboro was the same lady both times and truly a great person.

      On 11/26/22 I called Budget Dumpster over the phone for a dumpster rental. I was actually looking for a smaller dumpster able to fit a debris waste from a 8x5 feet bathroom remodeling and flooring laminates from 6 rooms. The sales rep recommended the size 15-yard which holds 2-3 tons debris weight, and I paid $575.00 with my debit visa card. The sales rep never emphasized during our conversation that I was supposed to only put 1 ton weight in the dumpster. However at the end she would verbalize an explanation of the rental agreement which was like playing a fast-forwarding tape recording. So I have a question to this business company: Why would I and pay for a huge dumpster if they only allow me to place a small quantity of waste in it? I believe this business is misleading people; they set their weights too low on purpose to take advantage of those people not in the construction industry who don’t know better. The dumpster was delivered on 11/29/22 and picked up 10 days later on 12/9/22, it wasn’t even half full. A month later from my initial order (12/27/22) I noticed that this business withdrew $134.85 from my bank account for overage fees without letting me know. I called them and I even spoke with the supervisor, Eileen, I explained the situation that my dumpster wasn’t even half full; she told me there was nothing they can do that I was informed beforehand about the weight limit. BUYER BE AWARE!!! I will never use Budget Dumpster again.

After reviewing your experience, our team has determined the terms were gone over properly during the sales call, as well as in your rental agreement. Our goal is to help accurately forecast the tonnage needed to complete a project, as to not overcharge for unused weight. While the dumpster may not have been overfilled, materials disposed of that do not have a lot of volume can have heavy tonnage. We regret that you remain dissatisfied, however, the charge remains valid.

      I wish I would have read the reviews prior to hiring them. They were in the middle price wise for a dumpster needed on a roofing project. The sales rep I spoke with recommended the size based on our project and was great to work with so I ordered and paid for the dumpster. Everything was fine until a month later when I was charged for weight overages (over two times what they allow). This was in the fine writing but never disclosed as a possibility and my credit card was charged for almost an additional $500. This is predatory practice and nobody in customer service was willing to do anything about it. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company but not sure how this will end. Regardless, beware and stay away from Budget Dumpster as it will cost you.

      Rebecca, The dumpsters are priced based on weight, and customers are responsible for any weight incurred beyond the pre-purchased limit. Our team has reviewed this matter and you determined you were properly notified of the pre-purchased tonnage limit via the sales call and your rental agreement. Our goal is to help you accurately forecast the tonnage needed to complete your project, as to not overcharge for weight you do not use. We regret this negatively impacted your rental experience, however, our team has provided additional documentation related to this charge.

      I schedule the dumpster on November 8th over the phone and paid in full for delivery on November 11th. On November 11th I heard nothing until late at night when I was told that the dumpster would not be coming because they did not have one. I was told the earliest would be the 20th and because we were already paid we agreed. I did not receive a dumpster on the 20th so I called on the 21st and I was told that the dumpster had a broken handle and the earliest available dumpster would be the 28th. I didn't want to wait because we were already several weeks behind and some of our materials were sitting outside but we had already paid and we agreed the 28th at the absolute latest and she said we would be the first one that morning and somebody would call in route. The 28th we did not receive a dumpster or a phone call so I called at 6:00 that night to ask and I was told yes we were still on the list and we would be getting our dumpster before 9:00 p.m. we did not receive the dumpster or a phone call so this morning which is now the 29th I called again and this time I was told that we are not even on the list for today. I have asked to speak to a supervisor or to have a supervisor call me back at 11:30 when I made the phone call I was told within an hour I would get a call I called again at 2:30 and I called again at 5:00 and I have been told all three times that a supervisor will call me back within the hour. It is now 6:00 I have heard nothing I do not have a dumpster and I don't anticipate I'm getting a dumpster. I just want my money back so I can look for a different company and can get this project done. We're now 3 weeks late and some of the materials have set outside.
