      This Columbus branch has the worse customer service, management, and working crews I have never dealt with. Had them replace my downspout pipes in ground due to collapse. Customer service trying to schedule an appointment was a nightmare and it would be scheduled, and they never would show when they were suppose to come. Always an excuse as they were short staffed but yet my job was a priority as it was impacting my sump pump draining. For what I paid, the work they did was not worth it as it was poor quality as even with my gas line for why lamp post was marked, they cut it and left the line just sticking out the ground and didn't even give me a heads up what they did. I found this out when i came home. Contacted the Field supervisor Jeff and he basically said it's not their problem as they are not responsible for it. In the back yard they didn't connect the new pipe to drain to the street, but they have it flowing out in my yard. Completely disappointed in the service Roto Rooter and the field supervisor had provided me I contacted the Manager Aaron, and he does not like confrontation and has avoided the issue as well. One would think management would have some pride in their company and take some ownership for poor quality and poor customer service.

      After a Plummer never showing up yesterday I called Roto-Rooter this morning. They came out within a few hours and fixed my problem. Thank you Alex!

      I had a small puddle in my basement one morning near the clean out access on the waste pipe. They said the main drain needed to be cleaned from basement access point and charged $759. Invoice stated they would give a 6-month guarantee on main/ branch lines. Later that night i noticed items in the floor drain of basement (golf ball, toys, etc) left from previous owner not visible before they came out. Asked them to come back out and clean the drain of obstructions under the $759 payment and warranty. They refused and told me could offer 30% for additional service, says the warranty did not apply. Tried to speak to anyone at the company who cared but no one does. They were asked to come out and fix a problem, they did not and then add on charges to when ask to do the original task.This is just a sale organization at the end of the day, if you have issues with your plumbing go to anyone else.

      roto rooter sent out a rep....woman....to help navigate ins. etc....she called **** for me and assured me and a friend that all expenses would be paid by the ins. co. they pd about 4600$ in dec and now co says i owe about $2500 more that was not covered....what a racket.. i would not have used them. in past, all exp. were paid to restoration co....and i owed nothing...tired to contact rep. has nothing to say now. roto plans to sue me and put lien on house...i am 83, never owed a dime to anyone and have over 810 credit rating.....don't understand this crocket way of doing business. i would never use this co again and would like to resolve by their keeping their verbal contract with me. thank you. i have every ones name......related to the original visit.

      I'm filing a complaint because they took advantage of my Vietnam Veteran dad and charged him nearly $800 for replacing a garbage disposal. Even when I called Roto Rooter they said the job only took just over and hour. It's unfortunate that senior citizens are still targeted by businesses like this and take advantage of the elderly. I warn you DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I'm also filing a complaint with the base near us to not do any business with these crooks.

      On a Saturday in March 2024 I noticed a leak under our kitchen sink. I knew it was new because I’m under there at least twice a day. My husband called Roto-Rooter and they said they could come that day - no extra weekend charge. A fellow showed up and came in then said ‘I’m not the plumber’ and mumbled something about being an inspector or something. He had a light on his headband and a little gadget he said measured ‘dampness & water damage’. He moved this around the cabinet floor under the sink and it beeped on the part where I had just dried up a bit of water a couple hours prior. I had used maybe a dozen (half sized Bounty) paper towels and told him so. It did not beep in every area of the cabinet floor nor when he placed it several times on the side of the cabinet between the cabinet floor and the stone floor. After about a minute or so he said ‘yeah, so there’s a lot of water damage and this will start at $1500 up to around $4000 and take 3-5 days with our machines.’ What I thought is not what I, nor my husband, said we simply invited him to leave and showed him the way. My husband then cancelled the plumber who was next to arrive. Seriously?! We could replace the entire cabinet, sink, faucets, and pipes for less! We reached out, in hope, to our old plumber who had been out of town for an extended period of time and thankfully he answered. Our plumber determined there was in fact NO damage, our dispose-all simply gave up the ghost, yes he had one in his truck, and no problem to replace it. The total including the new dispose-all was $250. Roto-Rooter CLEARLY tried to scam us. My husband is considered ‘elderly’ as he is in his 70s so this will also be reported to local law enforcement as possible elder scamming. (My husband is the customer of record so his name appears here)

      I called this company to snake my bathroom tub drain, what should have been a simple fix and the result was a torrential downpour in my dining room below and water pouring out of my sliding glass door. I have had to have the ceiling in my dining room cut out as a result of this incompetent employee. I am now trying to get my sliding glass door repaired or replaced as it has warped along with other damage. Trying to work with this company is a nightmare as no one will return a call for days if at ALL! You have no one person that is a contact person to speak with, yet all of the initial damage and response you had with them has been relayed to numerous people. Typical passing the buck to deflect. I implore the public to avoid this company and seek out individual repairmen that could do nothing worse than this company's response to my issue. BUYER BEWARE! Do research for reviews prior to calling someone.
