1 starI have been in HR for 20+ years and have gone through many implementations over my career. I must say that Paycor is by far the worst payroll/HRIS company I have ever worked with. The implementation team were unskilled, uncaring, and non-communicative throughout the entire process. We were then introduced to our "Premium Support" team which subsequently "ghosted" us until I became vocal enough to get everyone's attention. We have never tried so hard to make a system work like we did with Paycor. The "excellent" customer service that were promised was abysmal from the very beginning and never recovered. Through countless conversations about these performance and implementation issues, no one seemed to care. Absolutely zero service after the sale. Unfortunately, we were forced to move to another payroll/HRIS company within 9 months due to this complete disaster. I thought *** had terrible customer service until we worked with Paycor and now I stand corrected. Lastly, when we left them, we immediately lost access to our data. Per the contract we should have had it for 60 days. In order to get OUR data, I now have to pay an additional monthly fee. Unbelievable!!!Paycor, Inc.

1 starHorrible platform. Horrible service. Not only is the platform itself an unlearnable labyrinth but the customer service is insulting. They have a fleet of people in call centers with essentially NO training. They gave patently incorrect tax information and cannot fix anything. Honestly, just hand write paper checks before you use paycor. They will go fully silent.Paycor, Inc.

1 starThief's. In the course of 12 days they have stolen over $8,000 from my company. My account has been closed since 12/22/23 and yet they still access my money and steal it. No invoice, hours on hold with no answer. When I do speak with someone they just say its for "fees" but cannot elaborate. Nothing I have done with them could even come close to 8k in fees. 1 starHave to echo the negative comments. I've been through a lot with payroll companies over the last 30 years. Paycor is easily the worst I have experienced. The sales guy was great. Implementation contact was great... until they cut me loose well before everything was implemented. Things I was promised in a week took a month. Things I was told would take a month, took six. And in the meantime, I had no fixed contact at Paycor, no advocate. Customer service was MIA behind 20-30 min hold times and frustrating chats. I did finally get everything set up, and can accomplish routine tasks, but anything the least bit out of the ordinary requires customer support - which is always a struggle to get. Trying to cancel the service was the final indignity. Procedures are unclear, filled in a form but got no response. Finally they said someone would reach out to me to handle the closing details. Instead I get an email that says (even though I have to pay for another month) access to my account was immediately cut. A consistently bad experience.Paycor, Inc.

1 starLiterally the worst platform I have ever used in over 13 years in the industry. Starting right at the beginning with implementation and our implementation manager ghosting us at about week two. Implementation continued to be abhorrent the entire way through to 'go live'. Customer service not only shockingly bad with zero follow up, cases getting resolved without reaching back out to the client, terrible internal tracking system for cases (case numbers gets changed from the original # you are given based on what 'department' it gets routed to), you can't talk to anybody BUT customer service (regardless of the issue you have is with {ex.} treasury), they rarely respond to emails, however the real kicker is that 'customer service' are neither industry nor platform experts. Their knowledge base is often incorrect or usually, you are hold for no less than 30-60 minutes as they 'consult' with their teammates. You have to 'escalate up' in order to reach a manager, and again, follow through by a manager is roughly 5% - and this is a three year rolling average. On top of worst service ever is the software itself. Starting with the set up and having to assign departments to states. I can't even fathom the architect of the system thinking this is how companies align their finances and how reporting should be structured. A massive number of complaints about the pay grid, however my favorite is that you can't delete a file from processing once imported. You have to MANUALLY touch every {ex.} commission to make a correction/deletion once the file is imported. I've never worked with a system this limiting and basic. After customer service and platform inadequacies there are the penalties and fees Paycor has cost my company due to untimely filing of taxes and/or reporting to required agencies. Terribly incompetent, frustrating and would not recommend as a payroll service regardless of company size.Paycor, Inc.

1 starThe worst customer service ever. Hard to get ahold of people and resolutions to issues takes too long in a time sensitive payroll situation. It is impossible to reach anyone directly and most service reps have no clue about payroll or how paycor works. Wait times are horrible and if you need to escalate an issue they have zero chain of command or ability to talk to anyone higher up to get resolutions. Last year they mailed our W2's to the wrong address. This year they lost an entire package of payroll checks and no one can tell me where they are, no tracking information or what the status of getting them is. And 6 days after submitting a payroll they are unable to even find the payroll, unable to confirm if it processed or locate the checks. Even worse an email response to us referenced an issue related to a different company not associated with our company and sent it to us by mistake. And multiple days later we still have zero response to my issue or inquiries.Paycor, Inc.

1 starThey charge us for about 90 employees instead of 17 that we have , and refuse to adjust it and credit us back for the months of over charged , we have attempted to everything to get this fixed and after 2 months of getting nowhere we are now going to go back to our previous payroll company and maybe sue them for money they owe us. Never would I imagine this level of incompetence.Paycor, Inc.
