      If I could leave a NEGATIVE 5 star I would!This business should have a major meeting and training on how to run a business. The BBB has MULTIPLE 1 star reviews, all stating that "Shamrock is an HORRIBLE company "Like myself being told $75, I also saw others told about the charge of $75 but when the technician got there they changed the amount, a lot higher then the $75.A lady who told me she would call me back, never called me back, after she called to tell me the techs would be here in 40 mins, and I told her the technician just left, I was thinking Shamrock decided it's a good idea to keep their word of the $75, because that's what a good reliable business does but she never even called me back.EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED and UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS!!What!? 52 complaints in one year!! WOW!!

      We Scheduled for chimney cleaning. Given a quote of $75. We were scheduled first time for 2-5 pm, with no show/no call. Rescheduled for 1 1/2 weeks later and they cancelled. Third appt was 2-5 pm today 9/26/25. They arrived around 6:30, pointed out issues in our chimney and quoted us $2800, got down to $1600 and we explained we could not afford it. The gentleman said to get the fire box and flew, as well as repairing a crack on the outside of the chimney would be $600, but he would need to confirm with his office. He came back with $1200. We said no. I wish I could show you pictures of the before and after. We got the recommendation from Angies list. Stay away from them, in my opinion its a scam.

      Would leave a -10 if I could. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Shoddy work and most of the workers have no clue what they are doing, lady in the office will play mind games with you and she is never wrong. I would not hire them if they paid me. For a "supposed" veteran owned company, very sad.

      If I could give zero stars I would. I hired this company a few years ago to clean and line my chimney. I hired them because it was Veteran owned, but the nephew of the Veteran is the worst. I left a ****** review and the woman admin said they did not service my chimney and I mistakenly took Shamrock for a different company, she wrote they have no record of my service, but I have the receipt! I spent over $2000. First of all he covered a hole (formerly used for a old fashioned stove no longer present) with a piece of cardboard and cemented around it. Next, they lined my chimney. Today, I had my chimney looked at from top to bottom and get this The liner does not hook up to teh boiler! I spent over $2000 for a liner that doesn't line. Also they cut the elbow so carbon dioxide fumes kept going into the cellar! Today , I had the elbow replaced for $150, and the liner will cost $2500. The new company said I should sue because of the danger. He left the place a mess too, but that's the least of the worries.

      Hired Shamrock Chimney to fix my leaking chimney. Their employee, *******, said that a liner would solve our problem. It didn't. We won a $4500 small claims judgement against them, which they have not acknowledged. We are now taking down our chimney.Please protect yourself and do not use this company.

      People beware of Shamrock Chimneys in Patchogue, NY. If I could give them 0 stars I would!
      My husband hired Shamrock Chimneys through Angi, Inc. for a cleaning of our chimney. While they were here for the cleaning, my husband inquired about installing a chimney cap as well. The Shamrock tech said he had them in his truck and that he could do it for us while he was here for the cleaning. Unfortunately, what he did not say, was that the cap was the wrong size and way too small, which he installed anyway ... covering 1/2 of the chimney with the cap and the other 1/2 with a metal cover. I wish I could attach a photo here because what that tech did was laughable and to think that someone could actually do this to another person's home, and think that it's ok, is disgusting! When I called Shamrock to let them know about the horrible and potentially dangerous job that was performed by their Shamrock tech, I asked to speak to a manager and was told she would call me back. However, this never happened but instead, a receptionist called my husband and said someone will come by "to make it right," no apology, so we set up another appointment. However, they cancelled that appointment to "make it right" because of weather, which is understandable, so we rescheduled for today, Thursday 1/16/24. Again, they cancelled, saying my husband never confirmed, which was a lie, they gave him a time-frame of arrival. They set up yet another appointment with my husband, but, I called to let them know we don't even want them in or near our house; what a horrible company they were; and that we’ll be spreading the word about them. I believe what they installed is a fire hazard, potentially dangerous and we'll be taking this matter to our fire marshal and leaving a review here on Better Business  Bureau, as well as any and all platforms that we can!

      We contacted Shamrock C&C for a chimney clean out. They corrected issues with the chimney (cracks) but then they found issues with the oil heater chimney. They replaced the liner but the cement patch-work was unacceptable and there were large gaps where the cement fell from where it was suppose to be. They returned one time to add additional wet cement but the cement fell again, leaving a hole in the wall. We called multiple times and rescheduled but no one ever showed up and now they have stopped taking our calls. Considering the amount of money they charged for their service and the poor follow up, I give 0 stars for this company even though this site required me to select one. Do not use this company.

      I had Shamrock Chimney Sweep come out to have just the pellet stove liner sweep(25ft liner in the brick chimney). I was quoted $ 75 dollars to do the job which I felt was really inexpensive compared to other quotes of $300-400 dollars. They arrived approx 2 hrs late from the three hour window that they provided. They then said that the job would be more involved and quoted me it would be $600 to sweep the chimney liner. Needless to say the job was not completed as the price $200-300 more than anyone else.***** Uxbridge MA

      Called for a free estimate for brick pointing: got high oressure sales pitch, the technician and helper were ready to start immediately. The work was sloppy and amateurish. On seeing the work, I told the workers to pack up and get out, they argued wiith me but I insisted They insisted on being paid the down payment on the whole ******* I have to get a quality contractor to repair the shoddy,*********** they did.
