      This is absolutely the worst payroll company to deal with. You are assigned a "payroll specialist" that is supposed to handle your payroll but you are constantly be shuffled from one to another and you can't ever talk to them when something goes wrong, Everything is through email and if you are lucky enough to get through on the phone after you sit on hold for 15 to 45 minutes, you are told your payroll specialist has to handle your problem but when you tell them your payroll specialist never replies to your emails nor can you reach them by phone they tell you they will send a message to the manager and they will get back to you but that never happens either. They have made and error on the W-2's and in order to get it amended they are charging. $650.00 for an error they made, and you can't talk to anyone about it because of course it's all through email and you are at their mercy because they automatically deduct it out of your bank account. Please, Please, Please think about using another payroll company before using this one because you will be sorry if you don't..

      Paychex made a mistake with the 1099 form. My employer contacted me about 2 weeks ago and said it would take a week to fix. I already filed my taxes and now it is about 2 weeks from Tax day and I still do not have a correct 1099 form and cannot file my amendment.

      The absolute worst company i have ever had to deal with. Not sure how they are in business and I hope they aren't much longer. It has been a nightmare dealing with them.

      Fraudulent. I requested an IRA rollover on 7 Feb 2024. They charged me $75 to send the rollover check for a 6 figure amount. Then they never sent the check. It's now 12 March and I'm now calling for the 4th time to request them to send my check. Meanwhile, I'm up against a 60 day window to deposit my rollover check without incurring tax liability.
      In the meantime, they took the money out of my account when I made the request on 7 Feb.
      Now I find out they will cancel the original request and re-issue the check but charge me another $75 and still have no option to expedite. No tracking. No *****. Only regular USPS mail which takes 7-10 business days.
      Stay away from this unethical and fraudulent company.

      Requested a distribution when I left jobs to rollover my 401k. They lost the check and then are charging me extra to get another check sent out.

      Scam! I'm a new business owner. Paychex is tearing my bank account apart. I may have to close the account. When I started the account they said it would only be $54 per month. The have fraudulently removed hundreds of dollars from the account. This has caused me more stress than working for my money. I closed the account last October and the are still charging the account for no reason. I'm filing a lawsuit!

      I signed up for paychex. Their website always gave me an error message for operational error. There was no way for me to access my account. So I decided to cancel the account. I notified them to cancel on 11/30/23, the company continued to generate reports such as quarterly report, W-2 report even though I didn't want them. Because I would not be able to access any of the reports. They continue to deduct money from my bank account and refuse to close my account. After I re-sent them the separation form which clearly showed that I had declined all forms that were offered, they still continue to invoice me. After many many emails, they had a debt collect to harass me. It's not the money that they are charging, I don't like the way they are treating the customers. It's like they collect rent of a room from you without letting to access the room. I signed up with paychex to make life easier for my, it turned out to be a very stressful experience.
      I regret that I didn't read the reviews and gave too much trust to their reputation on google.com

      My company used Paychex to issue employee checks, and administer a 401K. The customer service has been terrible. The web site is not user friendly. Also, this company takes a shocking amount of money away from your profits, as they over charge for everything they do - just my opinion. When we closed and sent our employees to rollover their 401ks, it was an epic pain in the butt for them to navigate Paychex Flex procedures. Paychex will hurt your bottom line, and waste your time as an administrator. I do not recommend them for anyone.

      If I could leave 0 stars I would! The worst customer service I had ever experienced! I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Signing up was cake but after that not a single person will help you, they will keep telling you your invoices are zero but then keep pulling money out of your account and will not explain why. I’ve been nothing but lied to repeatedly. Horrible business, horrible experience.
