  Multiple Payroll Specialist wouldn't contact you back regarding issues. Were not taking out garnishments correctly. Or filing in the proper states even though plenty of information was given. Management could not even get their subordinates to do their jobs. There were not proper taxes paid in. Locked us out of our online accounts and had to pay $488 for year end information for employees and CPA. After trying to cancel services 12 times, they finally canceled it, but not before trying to charge us weekly for services that were not rendered to us.

  After firing this incompetent company from doing my payroll, I was contractually stuck with them still servicing my 401k plan. I have never encountered such gross incompetence, poor customer service, and lack of follow through with any company I've ever dealt with. They never return calls, they do not return critical emails, and they just make sure that everything is on their terms when it comes to communications (ie emails that they do send are all marked "do not reply", they have no direct lines to call in and speak to the individual you spoke with last time). In their most recent debacle with me, they took out twice the amount of 401K withdrawals that they should have from my checking account for over 2 years. When I originally questioned them about it, they told me that some of the withdrawals were fee related. After I was investigating one of their other screw-ups, I came across information that showed they clearly were double dipping on the withdrawals and that the increased cost had nothing to do with fees. It has been like pulling teeth to get them to reconcile the issue, reimburse what they owe me, and make me whole again. All and all, I've made close to 20 phone calls and spent over 20 hours trying to resolve this issue only to repeatedly get ghosted when somebody says they will follow up with me.

  As many individuals have mentioned before, Paychex is a shady company. They charged me $625 to run payroll which was never run. Payroll specialist Allyson C******** was of no help and could not even provide me with documentation that I agreed to their services. Do NOT use this company. Try another one like *****. etc.

  My story is similar to Bridget B's. HORRIBLE. I retired in 9/22 and sent in my client separation form. A month later I got hit with $288 of "Adjustment Fees" AFTER the seperation was concluded. They held my W-2 as ransom. Terrible business practice. If I had the money, I would hit these loosers with a class action suit that would make their head spin... DO NOT USE PAYCHEX at all costs.

  this is a horrible service, my service representative Breauna T***** don't asker calls or emails I still can't access my Flex account it's been months i have to call in for payroll, they also have me down twice two different ID numbers and on top of that i got paid twice and still waiting for 1099"s
  i also contact her supervisor no response.

  Do not I repeat do not use this company they will take money out of your account randomly and you will never be able to get anyone who can explain why the money is coming out. The payroll specialist are very unprofessional one person said to me they would call me back in a hour because they had to take there daughter to school. It was a mess I highly recommend you finding another company to process payroll. This one steals money

  I sold my company in February of 2022. I signed and sent Paychex the client separation form on 2-7-2022, and even referred the new owner to Paychex. Here it is a year later and they had a hold on my account so I could not get my W2's. They sent one email with the bill for the end of year w2's in July! 5-months after I sent them the separation form - that email went to spam....I just found it when talking to their representative. They never called or sent anything else. I found out they had continued to bill me after my business sold because my signed client separation form was not seen by them...but, I found the original email showing that I sent it on February 7, 2022. Nothing but lies.
  It wasn't until I needed my W2's to give to my CPA today February 7, 2023 (1-year later) for the month and 4 days we owned the business in 2022 that I found out they put a hold on my account for non payment of a bill I never saw or heard about. In fact, they even sent me a $200 refund so I thought all was good. I would have certainly paid them had I known...but here we are a year later, I gave them the payment over the phone immediately and now I can have my W2's.....we will see how long it takes to get those! They have the worst communication within their organization and for sure with customers and former customers. I will Never Ever recommend them to another one of my business associates and I have a lot of them!

  They sent my 401K payout to an insider ( I assume) who cashed my check and it took months and 100s of calls to get my money-back. Absolutely a joke of a company.

  I will never again work with a firm that uses PayChex. The first time I did, their "agent" who was assigned to the firm was offshore and pretending to be in the United States. She seemed to be working with a few other people who just pretended to use the same name. I was never paid, they also entered the wrong information on my tax forms, and finally after about three weeks after payday--the owner of the firm had hand write me a check. Every time we called, a different person answered the phone and said they were one person. They also stated that they would "Overnight" a check to me because they admitted to making an error of around 2-thousand dollars (short) on my check. No check ever arrived. We called back, someone else using the same name had never heard of the issue and had no idea what the problem was. Now I am at a new firm, and I spent 3 hours trying to get onto their site. Impossible. They will not send a code, have no contact telephone number, and their chat does not function. This is an offshore company that pretends to reside in the USA.

  Horrible. I had a service that was $58 dollars a month. I switched banks & forgot to notify them. They charged me $120 every time my card didn’t go through. They never called or anything. I call to get an update on W2 & I now owe $869.00… for a 59 dollar service
