    We have been a Wix.com user since 2011. I run a small nonprofit organization that is entirely volunteer-run and dedicated to assisting ********** families with their pets. Recently, we encountered our first issue with Wix.com, and I am quite disappointed. I had noted in our calendar that our renewal was not due until September 13, which meant we were paid up until that date. However, our renewal unexpectedly took place on August 30 for a two-year pricing plan costing $624.00, an amount we cannot afford. Unfortunately, there is no phone number to speak to someone directly, so all I could do was use the chat feature. I have chatted with three different representatives, all of whom told me that there was nothing that could be done. I requested a refund so that we could renew at the monthly rate instead, as that would be more affordable for us during this time. The representatives showed a lack of compassion and refused to help, stating that an email was sent a month prior, which we missed among the hundreds of promotional emails they send. While I acknowledge that it was my mistake for not seeing it, it was still before our renewal date, and we felt dismissed. Due to this experience, we will no longer use Wix in the future. I can dispute this matter with our bank instead.

    This place is a SCAM!! Do not use this company. They lock you in and make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel your subscription and then when you find a way to cancel it they make you pay them full price for no service. This should be a class action law suit against this company. There is no way to call them or contact them to cancel then they just keep taking money from you for years.

    When purchased three-year subscription for web hosting in 2022, small print under the purchase button stated that it is agreed to auto renewal of 3 years for $540 which can be disabled at any time though the account. Auto-renew has been disabled through the account before end of billing period and beginning of new one. However, Wix.com arbitrarily charged renewal two weeks before the new billing period would start, changed plan from Unlimited to Core and changed price from $540 to $846. None of that has been authorized or changes agreed to.
    There were multiple attempts to cancel the upcoming subscription through the online IA chat bot, customer care chats, phone callback, and email with Wix.com support. The latest email update is that cancellation and refund request has been submitted on August 27, 2025, is under consideration, and that decision will be emailed within 45 days.
    When I traveled to listed Wix.com office in San Francisco, security desk in the building informed me that office has been closed and vacated two years ago. Phone number on current Google listing is directed to Better Business Bureau.
    Through our bank I disputed the unauthorized charge, which I am willing to rescind if Wix.com will process the refund.
    I have subscribed to Wix.com hosting services for past thirteen years. Their product served me well. However, I found Wix.com acting predatory and not in good faith when it comes to auto-renewal, price changes and so call 14-days money back guarantee.

    Wix.com is engaged in deceptive business practices! They do not make canceling your subscription easy and refuse to do it over the phone when you call. Do not use Wix!

    I've been with WIX for years, and mostly had a good experience. My business is restructuring, so I cancelled the subscription within the refund window, but never got a refund. I requested help from WIX and contacted customer service, but haven't heard anything back after weeks of waiting. Before this, I planned to return to WIX after restructuring, but have no plans to anymore.

    I cancelled my subscription and requested a refund after they charged me anyway. I then received an email that they tried to refund my money but my bank refused the refund and that they reinstated my subscription (without my authorization) after I had cancelled it. I contacted my bank and they said they have no record of refusing a refund. I told them I wanted a refund immediately to keep my subscription cancelled and they never replied. I do not recommend doing business with Wix.

    I have been using Wix for 4 years with no problems. Yesterday I received a threatening message via in box that my site had been hacked and it was against policy to continue allowing me to sell unless I clicked an email to a person who was supposedly going to resolve the flagged issues on my site. The. I received another message from supposedly customer support asking for a screen shot that I had reached out to this person. This person did contact me via email. He wanted $300 to go through my site to fix whatever bugs my site had. I told him and also the cs *** that I have copied all my listings and I am ready to go to another site to sell in case they decided to suspended or freeze my account because I cant afford to pay $300 to some unknown person. That and the fact I havent sold one item of my luxury goods since January there. Then, I get an email asking what I could afford. I ignored it then another inbox message telling me they can help me build more traffic to my site This was a plot to get money off me. The fact I use their website means they are responsible for hacking and bugs. None of which Ive never been warned about via any messages until this supposed scheme. Once I told the. I had copied all my listings, their tone changed from threatening to more appeasing toward business help to grow my business via search etc. What a total scam to truth to get more money off me since I pay premium fees to use the site. They need to be looked into for bad business practices and using threat tactics to scare clients using the website,

    Wix has been my service provider for almost 4 years. They have now questioned my business and made me resubmit documents they already had and bank info they have been making deposits to for 4 years. Twice now customer service told me nothing was wrong with my account and after several emails I am getting told conflicting information on why they are not releasing money I went out and EARNED! ***** on this company for withholding money from a small business. You are literally taking away from my children and I cannot in good faith book anything else with a customer through your service because I do not trust you! You are also still drafting my account for a website and pay system that is useless! No one is calling me back after several messages requesting this.

    Had 2 charges this month recurring. To an email that is unused they are renewing. This was for a campaign page from several years back. No activity. I requested nothing more than a partial refunds. They escalated and still said no. Be careful signing up further pages, they will try to stick it to you one more time after you leave. They know you wont be back

    I canceled my membership with Wix and was charged separately for a service that I no longer needed. I was told that I would not receive a refund. This is not the way to treat a customer for services that are no longer needed. A refund should be provided instead of the unwillingness to help. Extremely disappointed.
