    am a small business owner with very limited startup funds. I was initially impressed with Wix.com because I didn't have to know so much about build my site and it offered me services I needed. I signed up on Jan 25,2023 begun building my site immediately. Purchased their Premium subscription @$500+ only to wake up Feb 1st 2023 to an email stating " We (they) reviewed my request to have my site deleted / or deactivated!" Both of which I DID NOT!!!Since paying for the Wix.com subscription I've paid for my IRS/EIN @$275+ and I was in the process of trademark my logo. I can't get a return email from Wix.com as I replied back to the one I received. I don't have a TN for them.The process of getting support puts you in an infantile loop of click this / click that! I am stuck! My business plan was to have my site built ( by myself) with Wix.com hosting I was supposed to go live with my online store April 4, 2023. Does anyone have anything or info that might help me get this resolved? Im gonna try another hosting service. I also was unable to access my account after their email, so I was unable to cancel my subscription. I had to cancel my credit card. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

    Poor costumer service. If you need to talk to someone you will spend hours trying to search the right option but you wont be able to talk to someone. I think if you need just have a website showing information, Wix works for tha. If you need an interactive website for people to book services or to receive clients payments then Wix is not right for you. I have two websites with them and the one where I receive payments keep saying "You are currently accepting payments, but not receiving payouts" which is a lie. My clients have not being able to book because their account keeps disconnecting and my clients cant buy our product or book with us. Wix does not seem to care about their costumers because their costumers cant never reach them. I call that poor costumer service on Wix part.

    Awful customer service Deleted my domain when THEY refused payment on a credit card I use daily literally Tried to update it several times but so kept declining an ACTIVE card! Literally pumped gas with the sand card I added to my account right after attempted to add new payment for hundredth time!Then told I need to pay another hundred to get my domain ?? go figure I guess it makes sense to charge people when they spend too much time trying to pay! They cant take payment over phone! Seems like they just want an extra hundred bucks Worst is customer service representative was super nasty to me! And Id like to keep it to avoid having to create an entire new site but guess what?Id rather carve my eyeballs out with a spoon than deal with ignorant people and a crooked company.

    Each year the plans increases way too high. They have wholesalers who purchases domains. When you call Network Solutions, they tell you to call Wix. When you call Wix, they tell you to call Network Solutions and you keep getting the run around, even after being a long time customer and when you try to get the domain transferred, they get an authorization code that does not work, and you will not be able to change the *********** (dns) number, because that field is not editable on Wix, which means that you cannot transfer your domain name that you recreated. This sounds illegal and should be a process that has to change. They should not "OWN" you.

    Charge you for a premium website, used for several months but constantly had issues with performance of it. Had someone else build my website and cancelled my subscription. They will not issue a refund for the remaining 20 months of the subscription. Also, there is not a way to delete my payment information from my profile. Terrible company. Avoid at all costs.

    ***** it's impossible to get the contract deleted. I have attempted many times to shut off by account with wigs. They keep charging my account. No customer service to talk to on the phone.

    I purchased a premium plan last year but wasnt satisfied with my website. I tried to cancel it but the site said I had to wait till it was expired. I never authorized Wix.com for the automatic renewal of the annual subscription. Without permission Wix.com charged my paypal $384. With customer service I was able to cancel the subscription and stated I did not use the service. There is nowhere to delete the payment method and they should remove my payment information. In request a refund on Wix.com for what I was charged for the annual subscription. They basically stole $384 from my PayPal. When I requested a refund, Wix.com said that I would get a response within 14 days. When they responded to me it was a email stating they had denied my request for a full refund. Wix.com failed to perform its duty to protect my information and intentionally charged me for the unauthorized service. I have not agreed with any of its actions, which caused monetary damage to me. Before going to the formal legal procedure in the small claim court or a class action of the consumer victims, I am trying to resolve this issue through BBB. Im currently requesting a full refund for the amount charged to my PayPal through PayPal resolution as the charges were withdrawn without my knowledge or permission.

    If I could give zero stars I would. Unable to get in touch with anyone except via ******* which was bs and no help at all due to privacy reasons but yet cant log in to my site and they are still charging me monthly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

    After updating my *** page I moved to the live site and there was a header added to the *** page I did not want, and did not put there, that said "General(r)1"? I returned to the edit screen to remove this header and when I did the entire *** page was deleted from the site. When I tried to restore the site to an earlier version the content from this page was completely gone. After communicating with 3 or 4 WIX support staff they informed me there was nothing they could do to retrieve my content. They also could not offer an explanation how that happened. They apologized and sent me an article the explained that when information is lost from *** app, as well as numerous other apps, the restore function won't work. This means you are at risk of losing your website content with no explanation or ability to recover the material - and they know this and won't change it... I obviously should have had a backup word doc in place but I also trusted that once the material was on the site it was safe. IT IS NOT. The customer service manager gave me a month free of the website but still could not explain how this occurred. Be aware that you may lose the content you've developed for you website and WIX knows this and can't resolve it.

    When I found wix,it showed $25 for 1 year,for a domain,1 time payment as the minimum cost,so since I never used them,I went with min,then it kept trying to upsell me all sorts of extras,I said no to all,& then I found out it costs another $20 just to use the $25 domain i just paid for! This is fraud,anytime anyone asks for or charges $ & either does something else with it than what they said or tries to get more,or helps themselves to,it's a form of ********* want to use it for no extra charge,since their site misrepresented costs OR ELSE refund,willingly & fast or i' ll do so with my bank,reporting this & report them higher up too! Why the h*** not just say it's $45 to start with? that's better than finding out.Who can trust that?
