    Used them 8 years ago for a one of no renewal on a website. Just last week they changed my credit card?!.. 8 years later and they still have my credit card info and helped themselves to my money.Theft pure and simple!

    I tried to start a WIX website last June 2023. I asked for help many times since. I do not want to renew. I am very disappointed with customer service. (There really isn't any.) I tried to set up my website and there is a main page but that's it. I paid $203.52 for nothing but aggravation.I recently reviewed my contract and see that it comes from ******. That is also concerning to me. I don't know how to take this site down but as soon as I find out I will. I will also write a letter to the *************, ** *****************

    I had been dealing with technical issues ever since creating a domain with Wix and after a few months had enough. I contacted the Wix Team for a refund since I had purchased the most cost effective package which is a domain for 4 years. Although I've only used 3 months of the 4 years, they have decided to keep the full payment received and deny a refund. The website was misleading about the entire process and didn't measure up to their own expectations. They didn't try to reach out to fix the technical issues, so now I am out a website and $400 of services that I cannot use. I would highly recommend using a different service!

    I have been with Wix for 7 years. I would rate my overall experience a 5 star for having loved the platform so far, but they have finally crossed the line. 7 years ago the price for the platform was only $7.00 every month. In 2020 it jumped to $7.46 a month. In 2021 it rose to $7.57. Now, come July ****, they are raising the basic monthly subscription to $24.89, more than 3 TIMES THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT! So they wait until I am established on their platform with my website, wait until I have a following on my website and starting to generating a name for myself, and then they raise their price more than 3 times the original amount and say, "If you don't like it, you can leave." Business practices like this make me feel devalued and used, like they care more about money than their fellow mankind. They justify the price increase because of "new features", but I am not using those new features. I don't want them. I'm not going to support them treating me like a $ to them. I'll be looking elsewhere to host my website. Wix, you've made me feel betrayed and used. Maybe $24.89 isn't a "big deal", but when up against raising food prices, gas prices, and literally everything else, it means a lot to me, especially when you are forcing me to pay more. And since you've shown you'll raise your basic price without care, you'll continue to raise it and I won't subscribe to this business practice.

    Wix charged me for a yearly subscription fir $384 on December 24th which I did not authorize. I sent a request to cancel. It said I had to wait 20 "business days for a "response" to my cancel request. ******** service agent wasn't helpful and was condescending. Finally I realized I could change the plan though at first I thought I stuck with it. The agent did not tell me that. So I downgraded to the lowest plan I could and got half my money refunded which I am not even using. I am still waiting a month and 8 days later for a "response." 20 business days was the 19th of January. I contacted customer service again and tgey checked on my status request. They couldn't really help me and said to wait. I said I would wait. Well I'm still waiting. Terrible to be charged so much money on something I wasn't even planning on using this year. So I am out $192 bucks. I didn't even have the option to down grade to a monthly plan they still charged $192. I would appreciate it if I could be refunded.

    Love my WIX site and so much about it, but having worked for a web hosting company in the past, which also did some shady language, we need to not let these brands get away with misleading marketing tactics. If I'm looking at upgrading my site and my options for upgrading all say "free domain for a year" I would expect a free domain with the upgrade. Turns out you don't get it if you've had one in the past. That's highly misleading. It even offered to let me select my free domain right then and there. Also misleading.

    AWFUL! If i could give them zero stars i would!!! They excel in taking your money to get your website up, but god forbid you make a sale and need to get your payment deposited into your bank. They have an initial hoop you need to jump thru to get it set up with your bank - understandable. There's a time period of getting it approved etc for your first sale, understandable. I just landed a large order and i have been going back and forth with their "Verification" team for a WEEK trying to get my money deposited into my bank. Every time i give them what they want, they ask for something else. I sent them a pic of my id... they sent me another email saying now they want a SELFIE of me holding it.. They're now down to asking me for a social media account and even "where do you advertise" ... It is never ending!! They're jeopardizing me completing my order on time because they refuse to give me my money from the deposit - I can't buy any materials. DO NOT USE WIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Im only giving this company 1 star because I have to. They have been holding my payouts now for a month. My bank information has been verified and and they also have emailed wix confirming that my bank is account is active. The customer service is useless since wix does not actually have a bank and use a third party. The representatives are unable to resolve any issues. Also because it is a third party you (the wix customer) can not contact them. Do NOT use this website.

    Where to start? The list of issues with WIX is endless, and just when you need them they'll reliably NOT be available to help you. There is no customer service number, no live agent on chat, no way to communicate with a consistent person to receive help with your issues, even if they are urgent. I had my site hacked, likely by a disgruntled former boyfriend, and my entire account was gone with no record of my email address ever having anything to do with any accounts on WIX. I tried to sign in using an old email address that I had disconnected from the account years prior and it sent me two step verification to my disgruntled EX's number! That was Jan 9th, and today is the 22nd and I have yet to receive any help from them. Their messed up "customer service" seems like it's all AI, and unfortunately not good AI. This is just the most recent issue. Over the holiday season I had an issue where my domain was no longer attached to my website and there was no way to get help until I filed a ticket, which took them two days to receive and get back to me via email!!! Bull***t. DO NOT CHOOSE WIX!

    They would not refund a renewal charge on my account. I had canceled my service and they charged me anyway. They let me file a return request form but said it will take 20+ days to hear back. All I got on the phone is "I totally understand your concern" over and over. Horrible company don't recommend them to anyone.
