    I have attempted to contact WIX since August 1, when they renewed my website charge. I no longer use WIX or the website, I haven't for a month now. Yes they have an auto-renewal, and my website designer thought he stopped the renewal, which I want to discuss with them, but they have shut me out from discussing this issue. I will be posting all of my social media with exposure to their bad business practices. Not being allowed to get an answer on DAY ONE when they charged me for a full year beginning August 15, 2025 through August 15, 2026. This is bad business practice, now its August 6, they are preventing customers from getting answers, ignoring them. I'm sure WIX will say it's auto renewal policy and so too bad. If I had been able to contact them on August 1, this charge could have reasonably been reversed or at least pro-rated. So, they will give you the same answer. I am posting what they did all over social media and to the business groups I work with.

    I have tried to contact this business multiple times to cancel my website. It costs over $700 The only way to contact them is through email and they dont contact me back. I tried to message through ******** and no reply. They emailed that my website was cancelled but I was still charged. Ive been dealing with this since April. This company is horrible.

    7/27/2025 Charged for a auto renewal I was automatically signed up for without knowing. Charge was made to my acct and after looking for a very long time I was able to find out I was charged for some App through the wix site I didn't even know was there. I have never seen it. Had my Site for a year and this pops up. Spoke to Chat person who told it I would be refunded but today I get a email from some person I have never spoke with stating I would not receive a refund but I would not be charged again. This seems to be happening to alot of people. They have a 14 day Money back policy on Main site and the auto renew was less they 24 hours old. Spent an hour with a chat person/bot trying to figure this out. No contact numbers, no way to speak to a live person. They hide little auto renewals on your acct without you knowing until you get hit with a almost $200 charge.

     I refuse to close this case due to the fact that wix will not acknowledge my emails. When I renewed my domain with their site I agreed to pay for the registration of the domain for another year. I did not however agree to any and all charges they want to add. Taking money out of someone's account without authorization is illegal. I did not sign anything. I did not agree to automatic withdrawals. The site automatically signs you up without telling you to all these little hidden fees. No email advance warning. This was going to be charged and they are refusing to refund.

    I keep getting the same reply about the agreement form. I NEVER SEE A AGREEMENT FORM. I was never email a form and I never signed anything agreeing to a auto charges. I agreed to the domain renewal after a email was sent  that was all.   I never received a email renewal notice for this APP I was charged for. There was never anything posted or shown to me that if I agreed to the Domain renewal I was agreeing to allow Wix to charge Acct for anything and everything. Please show me proof of anything I signed agreeing to allow Wix to Auto Charge me for everything. Just because you have a "agreement " doesn't mean I was shown this agreement.  You agreed to a refund when 1st contacted because I canceled this App with help less than 24 hours after seeing the charge show up on my ****** acct. When the yearly payment was due I received a notice it was due and  it was paid. I then received a email my Domain fee was due for another year. That was also paid. But then without noticed I was changed for something I didn't even know was on  my Acct.  Something WIX added. NOT ME. Something that does not show up on the main pages of the website.  I had to spend time googling what this was and where to find it on the site. If it was that easy to find I wouldn't be the only person filing claims with illegal charges be made by WIX without the person knowing..

    On 7/11/25, Wix charged my debit card $432. I never authorized this purchase. I was never sent a bill or a paid statement. Wix also decided to charge me for a premium membership. I found the charge while doing my banking today. Hence, the 2 week time frame to cancel has passed. I just want a refund of $432 please.

    I did not receive prior notice via email about auto renewal of my website fees. I receive a free trial but had to sign up for auto renew. The trail was 2 years. There was NO email reminding of the auto renewal coming up they just charged my account. As soon as it hit my account, I tried to contact them and there is NO way to speak to someone. You have to talk to a chat bot and then submit a request for refund. This method takes up to 45 DAYS which is outrageous. If it takes that wrong they must be doing this to allot of people. This is a deceptive practice that US government agency are cracking on. There should be prior notice AND a ***** period for cancellation.

    I bought a subscription from WIX to make a website for a school project back in April 2025. After the school project, I intended to keep the website live. About a month after creation, the website had disappeared, as well as the account that it was created with. I did NOT delete the account or take the website down. I did not remove any payment methods, which is evident in the fact that I am still being charged for this subscription to this day, despite the account no longer existing. There is no way for me to cancel this subscription. I contacted Wix numerous times within this period, and nothing came of it. They have taken $102.48 from me now, while the website that I worked on for 10 hours straight is GONE, and my Wix account is GONE. They have charged me 4 payments of $25.62 so far, and since this hasn't been resolved, I might be charged again in August. The Wix representative said that the website and account are under the email ********************* but you can see that when I try to log in with that email, it says that email is not in use for any current Wix accounts.

    I was charged today for a domain name renewal for a domain name we no longer need and want to cancel. Wix **************** says it is non-refundable even though the renewal period covered by the payment doesn't even begin until August 28, 2025. They charged my card on file A MONTH IN ADVANCE!! Plus, I received no notice of the upcoming charge, so had no opportunity to stop it before it was processed. (The only reason we know about it is through a ****** notification received today.)

    I tried to cancel my Wix subscription, there was no one to talk to. There were only prompted instructions stating not to renew payment methods in order to stop subscription. I followed the instructions, but Wix charged my credit card $378.54 for renewal. I requested a refund which was denied. Now I have a website that I no longer use since I decided to end my business. Previously, I did follow their guidelines and did not renew my business email, they charged my credit card $91.0, I requested a refund and the money was refunded. However, Wix denied the $378.54 refund.

    Wix.Com has the following phone # listed, ************, but its out of service.  Additionally, the following link ********************************, which prompts customers not to renew payment methods, and the company still goes ahead to charge the card on file.

    I have attached additional document showing that I have tried to reach the business office, but I was told the same information,  not to renew the payment method in order to cancel the subscription.

    In my opinion, continuous attempts to reach the business office will not lead to a solution.  I reach out to BBB, because my attempts to resolve the issue with the company have failed.  Instead of proposing a solution the company is requesting that I continue to reach out to them in vain.  All want my money back because I have been misled, I consider the companys practice to be fraudulent.

    I keep getting spam messages from different "Wix Partners" about my website needing to be fixed. I am being contacted through a forum on the WIX App. This forum is for prospecting and returning clients to reach me. It is now being clogged with the same messages from these "WIX Partners." I am being directed to reach out to some Wix Partners on a third party website called ******. I have not had any issues running my website for the last several years and neither have my returning clients. I have asked WIx to formally reach me by a professional email but it seems to be some Ai server responding to my messages. WIX has admitted to me that they have been purposely pusing my website down in rank and continue to charge me a monthly fee. Every time I respond to these messages and ask for a refund or to at least stop payment they avoid that part of my message. Resolution: No more spam messages and if needed cancel my reoccurring subscription. I will take my business elsewhere on a different website hosting company.

    WIX charges renewal fees very early, well before account renewal dates, under the guise of "insuring uninterrupted service," when what they're actually doing is making unauthorized charges (I am not on auto renewal). They also claim to be transparent re: their policies but they are purposely vague (for example, promising a call back, then having a *** call from an unknown # that does not trigger an incoming call notification. That way the customer continues to miss the promised call back. I do not have any blocks or filters on my phone re: incoming calls).
