4/23/2023 $60.00 Charge Billing adjustment please. Streaming Sporting Event Never delivered streaming paper view event that was purchased and charged on my credit card. Business asked to wait for an email while it was reviewed and wast told someone would get back to me within 72 hours. I didnt receive any feedback or a refund. 181$ was taken for a service never rendered. I reached out to the company several times and they have stated that even after double charging me they will not provide any refund woth no real explanation. I have been completely stolen from at this point with the double charge. I was supposed to get access to watch a live event and missed it entirely due to DAZN's negligence and false advertising.Initial Complaint

On the evening of April 23rd. My wife, our neighbors and I decided to watch the ******************* VS *********************. The fight was a PPV on a site called DAZN. I purchased the subscription from DAZN and the Fight for $92.00.The DAZN server must've been down because it loaded all night. I tried everything from utilizing different computers, tablets, laptops and smartphones. We all looked up a customer service representative phone number to call. However, we couldn't access any information the site. Nor, were we able to successfully navigate the site. The site setup a loophole for customers trying to request help or a reimbursement. Moreover and unfortunately, we couldn't watch the fight!The next day an email came through about my payment was processed!We never received the service! Nor were we allowed access to the specific service that I purchased. Lastly, and to add insult, they charged me for a renewal for a service.I tried reaching out several times for DAZN to make this right. However, as easy as it is to buy the subscription... is equally as challenging to contact a representative or even be handled by a digital filing service. I am requesting a full reimbursement of $92.00 for the initial subscription and a full reimbursement for the renewal of $27.05. Which brings my total reimbursement to $119.05. However, I'm not too sure you'll reach a DAZN represequestionsive been trying for over 2 months. Please free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this reimbursement. After cancelling my account with the ********, they proceeded to charge my account 3 weeks after I had closed the account. The account subscription was on a month to month basis and according to the terms and conditions, if cancelled inside the 30 days, ******** would not charge for the next month. However, this did not happen. As I cancelled 3 weeks prior to next charge, they proceeded to charge me for the next month. After I talked to customer support, they said that I was put on a annual plan that was paid on a monthly basis. I never selected this so-called annual plan paid on a monthly basis. They said that the account was cancelled but that they will continue to charge my card for the remainder of the year every month until the next year was reached. Ontop of having billing issues, their service is amongst the worst streaming services I've experience. Their live events are always buffering half of the time which was one of the reasons for my cancellation. I believe that they are getting many customers to cancel and they have changed their terms and conditions after customers have signed up so that ******** is able to squeeze as much money as possible from customers even after they have cancelled their subscription. This is a scam tactic to get as much money out of a customer. The average customer isnt going to do anything about it and will just continue to oblige. I contacted my bank and they have put a stop payment on ******** for any future charges. I encourage anyone encountering this issue to speak with your banking institution to put a stop payment so that they are not taking advantage of you.Customer Answer

I purchased a PPV fight in May, which to be able to do prompted me to get a subscription, so I was charged for the fight AND subscription, which I canceled, and now they are saying its a contract and Ill be charged monthly for a year! How does that make any sed de that I paid $100 for the fight along with now a $220 or so yearly contract??? This cant be legal! On 4/23/2023, I purchased a *** event which included a 1 month subscription for $84.99. The *** did not end up working. Many people had the same issue. DAZN refunded me $84.99 on 4/28/2023. On 5/23/2023, they charged me $7.26 - which I did not authorize. I reached out to them to get a refund. They insisted that they charged me this amount because I cancelled. This is not right. I should not be charged because I cancelled. I was never able to watch the *** event that I ordered so I should not be charged a cancellation fee. Downloaded the application DAZN to my television to watch a pay per view boxing event on April 22, 2023. The application directed me to pay $19.99 and $65.00 in order to watch the event. Once I entered my credit card information, DAZN charged my card $27.04 and $70+. I attempted for 2 hours to view the service but could not get it to work. I attempted for several days to contact DAZN to request a refund. After canceling the service, DAZN has charged me again, this time $29.99. I have used their online chat to dispute the charge. I took pictures of each of the 3 times we chatted online and each time, DAZN employees state they could not see the charge. The employees request to see a screen shot of my bank statement where it shows the charge. I comply and sent them the screen shot. Still, they refused to refund even with the screen shot proof. Because I have attempted to request this refund 3 times without success, I have now been forced to file this complaint.Customer Answer

I subscribe on 04/22/23 to watch the ****** vs ***** boxing fight and purchase. Well I did and all and took my money when i try to watch the fight it never came up than i try purchasing it with a different payment method and it also took it. I try contacting them *** and tjis is the only email i got 2-3days after? April 22nd, 2023 Subscription = $24.99 Paper view ***** vs ****** fight = $59.00 Total = $83.99 I was assured that I would be receiving a full refund within 7 business days and have yet to receive it.I originally purchased the subscription and the fight in order to watch the ***** vs ****** Boxing match. However, after the purchase was made, I was unable to watch the fight and only got an error message saying a payment error had occured even though I have confirmation emails proving they went through perfectly.
