  Awful communication. They typed my social security number in wrong which they also used as my code for me to log in and upload documents. Had to reach out multiple times to find out why my code wasnt working, I was then locked out of the system and the team never replied to any of my emails to ***** me access again. Went with another lender that was competent enough to input my information correctly and gave me a way better rate.

  Echo the reviews on communication. My primary contact ******************************* was amazing, others not so much. They need to understand this is not something their clients do every day. Cryptic messages that don't specify what is really needed to move the process forward are frustrating. My ace was having ******* correct errors on their side and explain what I needed to provide resolved a lot of the issues. If you understand the entire process and are tech savvy they provide excellent rates and reasonable fees. I would use Better again if I purchased another property.

  I just closed my dream home with Better.com. Team at Better has done a Fantastic job in getting my loan processed thoroughly and quickly. Special mention to ******* and ***** who have been communicating each and every step of the process. Better.com portal also seems to be very easy to use. Overall it's an amazing experience working with Better to procure my loan for my dream home. Thanks team. Keep up the great work!

  My experience with better.com was a slam dunk. I was already working and qualified with a different lender and I changed course to use better.com. There were no hold *** and the process was seamless for the most part. Communication was great and I wasn't ever ghosted by my team. If you're a first-time home buyer or not technically inclined and need some hand holding, it might not be for you. If you qualified and need want something that is intuitive and self-service, you can't go wrong. I even got my seller to buy down my rate to ****% as Better's quoting system is the best for adjusting on the fly.

  Better mortgages exceeded my expectations. I was able to close on time and the communication was exceptional. Advisors were knowledgeable and always available if I needed to speak to them. It was great to also be able to manage the loan process online.

  I got preapproved through better mortgage so I made an offer on a house which was accepted. When I went to upload my PA and lock a rate, they changed all the rates and were trying to charge me up to 13 points! I asked what happened to betters *** 2.5% in points policy? They said, that doesnt apply to small loans under a certain threshold but thats not what the online policy states.

  I would be remiss if I didn't say I was initially reluctant to utilize the services of an online mortgage company. I had read and heard less than favorable remarks and reviews about other sites, and my realtor was even quite hesitant after dealing with a highly recognized online brand. All of that said, I could not be more impressed with my personal experience with Better, the process was simple, easily utilized, and was seamless from start to finish. I would highly recommend exploring this company, I had a signed and accepted offer, and had been pre-approved for a loan with a local company, but elected to do my own due diligence when it came time to explore mortgage rates. Much to my surprise, and even my realtors, I had been quoted anywhere from 6.2%-7.2% for a 30 year loan. Again, I was taken aback at the rate I was quoted via Better, *****%, and that as well made me even more reluctant, but once again, I was locked in, and everything proceeded flawlessly, and I recently closed with no hiccups at all. I'd be lying if I didn't have reservations along the way, waiting for some sort of mishap, or something that would upset the apple cart, and require me to start over with another firm, and possibly jeopardize my purchase, but again, things moved forward as promised. Anytime I had any questions, I was able to text or email my mortgage agent or his assistant, and they were very responsive to my questions or concerns, and I am one happy customer, and would most definitely recommend this company, and will most likely utilize them in the future for another purchase, or conceivably re-finance this loan at some point in the future. Good luck, and thanks to all the folks at Better that impressed me, and took care of me. OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE!
