  I had my concerns about using an online mortgage company. Better offered rates that were far and away the best I found, so I took the chance. I'm so glad i did! My transaction was smooth from start to finish. The lending team worked with me to structure my loan in a way that worked for my particular situation, and they were all great communicators throughout. My questions were answered quickly and thoroughly, whether by my assigned specialists or by the staff ******* the online chat. My appraisal was done promptly and my closing documents were ready well ahead of time. My title company and real estate agent were quite impressed with how well things went too. Based on this specific experience I would absolutely do business with Better.com again.

  Had a very smooth experience working with Better. They have a very easy-to-use portal and the entire team is very efficient. Their communication was on point and punctual throughout the process and all of the stuff was handled way before my closing date.   We chose Better because of their variety in interest rates, points, and lots of options when financing a house mortgage. As first time buyers though, I felt the communication was not enough. Our agent was in a different time zone and this made communication very limited, the only way to ensure we could talk was to set up an appointment (in which they were usually fully booked), making the entire process lengthy. Also, there were lots of miscommunication and delays with our mortgage process, especially near the end. This was where the communication aspect played a large part. After announcing the delays, our agent would go *** for a while, leaving us hanging and worried. Honestly not the best experience for first time buyers, but I appreciate the variety in rates and options.
