  Better. Better. Better. Their process is streamlined and efficient, communication was great and the digital platform is superb! When rates go down, I will look to refi with Better before any other lender.

  Better Mortgage was the easiest mortgage loan process we have ever gone through. We have always used a bank or credit union for previous home loans, and were a bit leery of an online company. Our daughter and her husband just bought their first house and chose Better Mortgage because they offered lower rates than other lenders. They had a great experience and recommended them to us as we were looking to buy our forever home. When I saw from several sources that they were rated at or near the top of online lenders, that helped us make the decision. Our agent and her team were so pleasant, friendly, and easy to work with. Communication was great. The online process is well-organized with tasks to complete and keep you on track. Its a great site to get things done. An smooth experience. Lots of options, too, for interest rates, points discounts, closing credits, etc. We would highly recommend using Better Mortgage. ****** ******** the loan processor was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now just waiting for my $2000 dollars credit to my AMEX and we are great!

  Better tried to sabotage my home buying experience. They tried to lock me into a horrible interest rate, denied me during underwriting and when I found a better (no pun intended) lender with a better rate, they held the appraisal report. Do yourself a favor and Do Not Chose better.

  Im a first time homebuyer and I never expected the mortgage process to be this fast and easy. They were ready to close my loan after only 8 Business Days!!!!

  I was a tad worried using Better for my home loan, due in part to all of the local lenders telling me how awful **************** are as well as mixed online reviews. However, the process was flawless and we closed in 20 days. They provided me the best rate, and lowest closing costs. I loved their dashboard that walked me through every step of the process. the team quickly responded to any questions I had. I will recommend them to anyone. I'm really thankful to have found them and used their services.

  I would only use them to do a refi. Doing a refi when you dont have time restraints is perfect, low rate, good portal. Using them when trying to close on a new mortgage, not good. Yes they had amazing rates but it was very stressful because of the lack of communication, availability to answer questions. They confirmed my referral bonus but then never paid me it I would love to provide my emails where they would not answer for significant time. Would love for them to pay my referral bonus and just have me move on. They sell your loans which is not ideal but no real issue with that.

  Dear ***/*****,I apply for mortgage to buy a new house. So choose better.com. It's my worst decision I've have made and so regretful. And the whole process is stressful and make me feel I'm killing myself.1. Hard to reach them. The connector know nothing but transfer me to the coordinator. The coordinator was always on the phone. I had to schedule a call few days early. Email to coordinator. Normally no response. But if you cc to title company or builder, if you were luck, you would get answer.2. Never explain at first step. They gave you list of task to finish. I uploaded all the docs but some I really didn't know. So had to call them or email them. Now go back No 1 point. Finally at the last moment, they would explain what caused the problem and let me fix it. And find excuse it's not their problem. 3. Delay the process. I uploaded my bank statement one month ago and they started to check one week before closing. Find problem and let me fix it right away. Now they started to do the job. The other example was the appraisal. My house was completed one week before closing. I successfully hired home inspector to do inspection on Tuesday and called the better, asking them to arrange appraisal at same time. No, they did the work on Thursday. Now it delayed the whole process. 4. Have no word on them. First promise me to get final disclosure on Thursday (2 business days before closing). Delayed because of appraisal as I said in No 3. Then Friday. Ok, this time it's funding problem. I had enough money in my bank but they kept asking me provide more funding source. And they didn't explain at first as No 2. 5 hours later, the coordinator finally knew what's going on and explained to me. I had to upload my retirement statement to them. But it's already 8:00pm. Lastly, they promised me I would get disclosure on Saturday morning on my local time. Nope, they broke their word again. I needed to wire transfer at leas one day before closing as requested by title company.
