1 starIf you are seriously considering doing business with Talkspace, do yourself a favor and read this and the other feedback that others have left. The negative commens about Talkspace's customer service are, based on my own experience, absolutely true. Talkspace's customer service is probably the worst that I have ever encountered. Due to an administrative error, Talkspace charged my credit card for 2 therapy sessions, that should have gone thru my insurance (and would have been paid 100%). Now, they refuse to correct the billing. They ignore my emails. What's more, they refuse to speak with me about it. It's practically impossible to reach anyone at customer service (live) at the company. There is no real-time support. As a consequence, I've had to file a dispute with my credit card company. I've also had to discontinue my therapy with Talkspace. I would recommend that anyone needing such services look elsewhere.Talkspace

1 starPredatory and misleading billing practices. They received my insurance information when I applied for services and said it covered everything with no co-pay. I participated in 2 sessions 2 weeks apart, and immediately after the 2nd session, Talkspace said insurance didn't cover anything and charged my credit card $250. Why did they initially say insurance covered everything? Why didn't they run insurance after the first session -- because then I never would have signed up for a second session? It seems the initial cost of services was intentionally misleading.Talkspace

1 starOne of the worst business experiences I've ever had. I tried for 8 weeks to get their useless support team to give me an itemized copy of my superbill for submission to ***. I would get an email response asking for dates, I'd provide this same information over and over and get told it was being sent to "billing" and then never hear anything. One of their support reps was very rude to me and said "stop putting in tickets, it's not helping you!!" As of today, I have 5 tickets submitted and no resolution. The fact they cannot complete a task as simple as providing a superbill of what you paid out of pocket, even though they advertise they do this is misleading behavior. The quality of care was garbage, I had one therapist who never spoke during our session except at the end where her sage advice to me was to go post a *** ***. Another therapist didn't bother to show up and then was rude to me when I messaged her about it. Switching providers is a joke, I requested a female therapist and kept being continually matched to a male provider. Or you'd be matched with someone after you requested video meetings and be told, "oh sorry, it's the app, I only do text therapy." The ** on the site is terrible you are forced to review providers you aren't even able to see due to scheduling challenges. I had one woman tell me she only sees clients at 7 am or 8 pm. Overall a crappy experience. The providers often bemoan the poor site experience, never a good sign when your assigned provider is complaining about the app you are using.Talkspace

1 starthis app is such a scam, first, they tell you they accept insurance, and make you do all this running around calling your insurance to make sure things are covered. After speaking with Talkspace customer support which btw THE SLOWEST CUSTOMER SUPPORT EVER, THEY TAKE DAYSSS TO RESPOND. Received an email in DEC stating I was covered and good to go. I completed two sessions, in my other sessions my therapist was a no-show. On February **** I receive a bill for $82.00 stating my insurance did not cover etc. I paid it because at this point I was canceling this service. I emailed Talkspace and asked to delete my account and all of my information. They stated they would keep therapy notes blah blah blah for state purposes fine. I don't care. well well, what do you know on 3/16 my card gets charged $125.00 for a supposed session I had BACK IN FEBRUARY!. huhhhhhh .. I emailed them on 3/** its now 3/** no response. You can't just charge people's cards without their consent. how do you even still have my card on file? ridiculous. Doing everything I can to get my money back.Talkspace

1 starTerrible platform. Only used because Cigna EAP was available, meaning FREE therapy. They charged me $131 to see a therapist that was covered under my Cigna EAP which should have been free. They had 4 open sessions in my home page and no way to discern between paying vs EAP options. My therapist couldn't help or advocate for me. Horrible and inadequate customer service. No resolution no refund only a promise to change their system to use EAP in the future. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE OR COMPANY.Talkspace

1 starTalkspace is so difficult to use and get customer service help. They do not offer monthly payment plans just weekly and I am at a point where I talk to my therapist once a month. I cannot get anyone to help they charged $316 and another $396 for 1 session. I am extremely displeased and will make a review everywhere to let people know what a scam this isTalkspace

1 starStarted sessions and was charged $80 for 30 mins. You can expect to pay $35 every 2 days even if you arent getting service. Its just once you sign up you have to pay them over and over again.Talkspace

1 starThis site deducted money from my account when I have not spoken to an individual and then set this up as a recurrent monthly payment to be deducted. I have had to file a fraudulent claim with my bank and block my card against them and request a refund for a service I did not sign up for and had not talked to anyone. A therapist stated she wrote a note stating there was no contact with me and I guess I was charged for that. Upon further investigation the charge is selected as a monthly recurring charge. The phone number listed does not get you a live person only an email to address your complaint and it can take over five days for someone to reach out to you.Talkspace

1 starTalkspace has gone significantly downhill over the last ***** months. I've had therapists not even do an introduction for over three business days, a therapist without any availability for a video call for 3 weeks and then cancelled on me last minute, and most recently a therapist who doesn't do any messaging at all despite that it's a messaging platform. All of these issues are counter to what is in the guidelines for therapists with TalkSpace. Extremely disappointing ad I will not recommend TalkSpace to anyone.
