    I have been using the Drop app for several years now. As many have said in previous complaints, I have been attempting to redeem my points with no luck. They say that you can log in Thursday at noon but every time you do, it says they are sold out. I attempted to make contact with customer service and have been told there are limited gift cards and to keep trying. I just want my $50 in gift cards and to move on. They made money off of my purchases with an agreement that I would receive a portion of their incentive back.

    Reward point which are supposed to be redeemable for gift cards are not. There is not a limited supply of options there is no supply and this is being misrepresented

    The app claims to have gift cards available for redemption, Thursdays at 1PM Eastern. After 5 consecutive months of logging into the app well before 1pm. The app has repeatedly errored out. required an update that didn't exist, or shut down completely.Based on previous mention of funding issues from the company, it is safe to assume that they do not have the funds to deliver gift cards that their users have earned.

    This app has had access to my personal information for over 4 years to accumulate points to be redeemed for gift cards. Now as of last year or the year before the app crashes they have changed their policy about redeeming and you can only redeem on a Thursday at 1:00 p.m. and buy one p.m. it crashes or it says everything is sold out until next Thursday. There are multiple complaints against this company. It's a scam and it's unfair. It used all of our information for their own benefit and now the rest of us are screwed. After providing all of this information thinking we're saving to get gift cards which we all have never gotten. I hope they get sued

    As the hundreds of other recent reviews state: this app used to be legitimate, but has now become a complete scam. I have tried 6 weeks in a row to redeem my points for a giftcard. I set a calendar alert and am logged into the app a few minutes before the supposed "gift card drop". Every week these is some issues that prevents me from successfully redeeming my points. One week the app said I successfully redeemed my points for a gift card, and then the next day sent me an email saying there was an issues and my points were being refunded. Today, the app froze 5 seconds before the drop, and when I finally got in and hit redeem, it told me to update the app (which I had done 15 minutes prior). Emailing customer service earns you a copy/paste response telling you they can't do anything about it. They still allow you to link your cards, which means they are still collecting your data, but they are now stringing users along with the promise of points redemptions that will likely never happen. This company should be shut down.

    I have a complaint against this app for their ******** profile, they never respond and ignore all complaints. I have nearly $50 in points that I earned that they make it impossible to cash out. They only allow cash outs at 1pm Thursdays and within one second they say all sold out. They ignore all help requests and bbb complaints. They are scammers and con artists.

    I have been with Drop a very long time, trusting them with my personal information in order to receive gift cards. They only have gift cards available the first minute that they offer. If you don't get it in that one minute, you're out of luck. I have $54 from earned rewards to get a $50 Amazon gift card. They only offered $5 Amazon gift cards. I chose one $5 today when it said I could redeem, & STILL couldn't get it. Now I have to wait until January 25th at 10 am to try again. This place is a scam. I want what I am ***********. I want a $50 gift card to Amazon. They have many complaints against them. Please check into this business. This isn't right!

    Drop Technologies USA pays for consumer data in the form of gift cards. Consumers earn points which can be redeemed in the form of gift cards and cryptocurrency Without warning or permission, they've liquidated my bitcoin holding and provided the value in 'points'. These points can no longer be redeemed as they've changed their redemption structure: instead of allowing consumers to exchange earned points for gift cards, users now have a single opportunity once/week (Thurs at 1p EST) to attempt gift card redemptions I've tried EVERY SINGLE THUR for AT LEAST 15 weeks. An alarm on my phone prompts me to open the app prior to 1pm and EVERY SINGLE THUR, THE **** CARD INVENTORY 'SELLS OUT' IN LESS THAN 10 SEC (in my experience, it's under 2 sec). Users are then prompted to 'try again next week'The points earned on the app now have 0 value to users since they can't be exchanged for anything meaningful or of value. I've contacted company about this on 10/26/2023, requesting that they compensate me for earned points so I can close my account (ticket# *******. An email dated 10/27/2023, was received from Drop Support and states this:"We're sorry to say that we ran into some issues with the app due to the huge influx of users accessing the app. While some members managed to redeem their gift cards, others may have run into some issues before they were able to redeem. We do understand that the recent changes in the redemption process have left some members feeling frustrated. Rest assured, we will take this feedback into consideration when improving the redemption experience for the near future. Gift cards are selling out fast and at the moment all gift cards are completely sold out for this week. We'll be restocking more gift cards every ********************* was compensated in the form of users data, but users have been unfairly and deceptively hurt by the sudden change in redemption structure and the companys unwillingness to address the known issues.

    I, like most of the other recent complaints, have tons of points I could redeem for gift cards through this site. I used it for about a year prior to their changes in policy in mid-2023 and now it is indeed impossible to use your points. You allow spending tracking through drop of various credit cards and are rewarded points for activating specific merchant deals for points for purchases. Additionally, you can shop directly through affiliate links on the drop app and get more points. Since mid-2023, the app crashes and immediately tells you within seconds that all gift cards have been sold out when you try on Thursdays at noon, to access the app and exchange points for gift cards they advertise are available. Either these cards are not actually available anyway - or there are only 2-3 for tens of thousands of people to try to get. The site is misleading people and using their affiliate purchases to be paid without providing the perks promised to customers for allowing this level of scrutiny of their purchases, which is no doubt profitable for Drop. Scam/fraud/abuse of consumers to be sure. While they may be providing a few dozen gift cards for the sake of saying they're doing what is promised - they've changed their policy enough that it is no longer what is actually promised.
