    I have been trying to exchange my points for gift cards and each time I do I get some kind of error or message saying that they are sold out. I earned those points by giving *********** to my credit card info.

    Similarly to the abundance of other complaints I have been using Drop for years and have accrued the equivalent of $299 in rewards. Drop has now locked all reward redemption except for new releases of giftcards on Thursdays at 1PM and limited giftcards to one per week and $25 maximum. I have never been able to receive a reward although I have tried for multiple weeks in a row. The app times out on those days, doesnt load, requires an update, you name it but no rewards are ever available and my points are just sitting there.

    I strived to earn $100 for a gift card. I could have gotten smaller amounts and redeemed for smaller value card. When I got the $100 I submitted for the gift card that I had earned and I waited and instead of getting a gift card I got the run around. I had saved up under terms then when I redeemed they changed the terms to a lottery. Maybe you will get your points. I do not have the time or energy or the nerves to deal with trying to get my hundred dollars under these new terms.

    I have been a user of the Drop app for quite some time. In the past, users were able to redeem earned points for gift cards as a reward for allowing access to their card information and for completing certain tasks. Since July of this year, however, Drop has changed the way that points can be redeemed. Users are asked to log on at exactly 1PM to redeem, and we are told that there are millions of points that are able to be redeemed that day. However, even if users are on before 1PM and ready to redeem, within seconds of "opening", the app claims that all gift cards are gone for the day. Each time that I write a complaint into the company, I receive the exact same response: "Hello, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Please note that if you received a particular error when trying to redeem today, please respond to this email with a screenshot so we are able to investigate. We do understand that the recent changes in the redemption process have left some members feeling frustrated. Rest assured, we will take this feedback into consideration when improving the redemption experience in the near future. Gift cards are selling out fast and, at the moment, all gift cards are completely sold out for this week. We'll be restocking more gift cards every Thursday."After doing research, I am seeing that no one is reporting that they've received a gift card since this change.

    Drop is a complete scam. According to Glassdoor reviews, the company is nearly bankrupt so theyre basically running their business off consumer theft. I have accumulated nearly $200 worth of points, but I cant redeem them Because gift cards are always sold out. All of drops social media accounts have gone dark and its impossible to hear back from customer report.

    Fraudulent company now. Used to give them access to data and they paid you in gift cards. Now its impossible to claim a gift card. Do not use this app. Its just theft.

    This app gives loyalty points by tracking my shopping. I gave them the privilege of my credit card numbers and I have over $69 in points. They only allow you to redeem for gift cards once a week at 1 PM on Thursdays and then every time you try to do it, they give you an error message and dont let you redeem or it says sold out within seconds. This has been going on for months. It is a complete scam. I was redeeming at 1 PM on the dot watching the countdown clock and until then and then it gives you an error and says all gift cards sold out. I want to redeem these useless points that I got by fulfilling my part of the agreement by Shopping and letting them track it.

    I have been using Drop for rewards for a few years. I over 222K rewards ($200) and have been trying to redeem them for 6 months for my rewards. The Drop changed their policy and now only releases gift cards on Thursday - originally for $25/piece and now some are only for $5. I have been on 10 minute early EVERY Thursday and have yet to receive a gift card. Every single time I get an error and then a message that says they are out of gift cards for the week and to try again next week. I have not heard of anyone actually receiving gift cards. I believe this is now a scam and they are taking our data and getting paid by companies to promote their stores and have no plans of giving anyone their rewards they earned. I have contacted customer service each week and have only received a copy and paste answers and have yet to have a real person who can help. This is infuriating and I just want my rewards I earned. If the company is going under just tell us that. They are also still advertising easy redemption process and gift cards which is not true. This is false advertising.

    Earned around $50 with my gift points and was told that they are changing the redemption process for the better , then they change the process of redemption to basically a lottery where you had to compete for a redemption. I felt that the app platform throttled me out of the process based on the fact I did not share or purchase items with a credit card through them or link Accounts. I felt that every week, I had to compete at auction time to redeem my points, which effectively made it impossible to get my redemptions that I had earned with my time and sharing my opinions on surveys, playing games ect. All of my information from surveys was taken and they were rewarded and paid for that information through their various sources, They then refused to pay out their own liabilities in the form of gift cards. I want a check or the Amazon gift cards I earned as points. I want them mailed to me as I have deleted the app as a complete waste of time. They have my email, and my phone numbers, as well as my address.

    Drop retroactively changed their terms of service in 2023, making it such that users like myself can no longer redeem their accrued points for giftcards. They have done this in several ways 1) they canceled pending giftcards that consumers already purchased, prior to T&C changes 2) they (supposedly) limit the number of giftcards that can be redeemed on a weekly basis-- this is dubious, as despite dozens of attempts at redemption by myself and hundreds of others, no person has been able to redeem points for a giftcard 3) further, they fail to respond to customer service inquiries and complaints (have emailed 3x in the past 2 weeks with zero response, and have been emailing for months)4) from a quick scan of internet forums, it seems that no user has been able to redeem points for over a year now, and reviews on the app store also support this To clarify, these points are not rewards-- Drop is like Rakuten or Ibotta, which promises compensation for shopping using their platform. Drop is currently holding the equivalent of $530+ that I should be able to redeem
