On July 27th, I set an alarm for 12:59 pm to redeem my points after my last redemption was refunded due to this apps negligence. The app did not load for at least a minute and for the next 6 minutes once I was actually in the app, the screen showed that gift cards were going fast but not sold out. No gift cards loaded and one minute later at 1:07, they are all sold out. This is unacceptable & borderline fraudulent. Ive been using this app for years and want to cash in my points immediately. Today, the issue detailed above persists. I have currently been waiting to "claim" a gift card for 27 minutes and still holding, all while not being able to use my mobile device due to instructions on the app stating "Don't close the app, this might take a few minutes." There is no way that all of these people are unable to claim gift cards when logging into the app at exactly 1pm as instructed, month after month. It's clear that the ***************** is having issues. I would like to redeem my points without hassle, just as you took my data without hassle. This is unacceptable, borderline fraudulent and needs to be brought to the attention of the **** BBB and CFPB immediately.Customer Answer

Drop Technologies USA have sold my bitcoin holdings without my authorization, rather than transfer the bitcoin to my personal wallet they liquidated the *** into drop points which have zero value.Customer Answer

This app is holding user points which are redeemable as gift card dollars and making millions of users log in at the same time to redeem limited amounts of gift cards capped at $25 each weekly. Each week the app crashes at log in time and by 1:02pm the gift cards are sold out. This has occurred for months. No one is able to cash out according to ****** and many speak of seeking a class action. It is clear that this company cannot afford to pay its users the promised gift cards and it is now scamming us into thinking we can still cash out.Initial Complaint

This app has gone so far downhill that it's not worth it anymore. They're still more than happy to take all your data, but I've been trying for months to redeem my points and they make it almost impossible. The app is so glitchy on redemption days that even if you're sitting on the redemption screen 5 minutes ahead of time, the app won't update and you'll have to restart. All gift cards are "sold out" in less than a minute. **************** is unhelpful. I'm sticking around just until the date I (hopefully) can redeem the points that I've earned, but I would encourage everyone else to stay far, far away.Initial Complaint

Ever since the new policies went into effect July 2023, I have been unable to redeem my points. I try week after week, clicking the redemption button (when the app doesnt crash in the first place) within literal seconds. Without fail, I always receive a message that gift cards are gone. I signed up for this app under the promise it was an exchange. We give Drop access to our spending and in return, we earn rewards. However, Drop is not fulfilling this as the rewards remain inaccessible. I have accumulated over $100 in rewards that have sat dormant for 5 months now.Customer Answer

I initially requested a giftcard back I. April/March in exchange for points. While they credited my points back to me, they also lied about why they had to. It wasnt an issue with the giftcards, it was an issue with them being able to fund them. Additionally, I have over $100 in points thats its now impossible to cash out because even if youre logged in at the exact right time theres never any available. This went from a cool website to a complete scam. I just want to cash out my $100 and delete the app and they will not help.Initial Complaint

I have been a DROP user since the app began, over 3 years ago. Until this year, it was easy to redeem your points. Now, you have to log in once a week at a certain time but wait - the app wont load then. Refresh it, nothing. Finally, 1 minute after the time and oh. All of this weeks allotted gift cards are gone. Its IMPOSSIBLE to redeem your points now. They are making money off of our personal financial data while we get nothing in return. They send out the same scripted responses to their support requests, if you can get ahold of anyone. Even here, if you scroll through reviews. The same response to everyone.Customer Answer

I have been attempting to redeem a gift card with my points for the past 2 months. The new policy is that drop.com only allows redemptions of gift cards at 1PM each Thursday however every single week I login to the app just before 1PM yet it says all gift card sold out a few seconds after 1PM EST. At this point, I doubt I will ever be able to redeem all the points I have in my account and it is nonsense.
