I received a letter for collections dated October 25, 2002. This letter claims that there have been previous attempts to contact me about collections, which there have not, and have offered a settlement of $3,552.17. I do not recognize this collections company nor the company listed on the letter which claims to be the creditor. There are no accounts in collection on my credit report. I feel this to be a scam, as stated by others. Not only because this information is unfamiliar to me and there is no account in collections on my report, but the letter is addressed to my maiden name, which I no longer use. The reference number is ******** and the account number is *********.Business Response

I received a letter dated 10/25/22 for Acct #********* for a settlement amount of $1,819.05 for ***********. I have never had an account with this company nor have I ever received any letters or calls in an attempt to settle this account that I have never had. This appears to be a scam with fraudulent information. I would like no further contact from this company and if any attempts were made to add fraudulent information to my credit report then I want it removed.Business Response

I received a letter in the mail on 11-12-2022 from National Action Resolution Group, LLC., also known as NARG. The letter was dated October 25, 2022 and claims that I have a delinquent debt for the creditor, ***** ********** ****, which, I have never heard of. It shows that I have an outstanding balance of $1,098.59 and that they have tried several times to contact me but, I have lived at the same address for the past 20 years. I also have ********, which I checked and also all 3 credit reports and nothing found reference this complaint. I knew there wasn't any truth to this as I always pay my bills and have a current credit score of 813. I can tell by all of the previous complaints on this company that they are a fraud and this is a scam. It is sad to think of how many people who have troubled credit might fall for and pay these amounts. This really needs to stop, I can see many complaints just like this one over and over again. I can upload a copy of their letter if it will help.Business Response

I received letter dated 10/25/22 regarding debit collecting from National Action Resolutions Group LLC. I’ve never heard of or seen the amount of money regarding this so called debt on any of my three credit reports. They have “exhausted all efforts”, but this is the first time I’ve received any contact from these people. The letter lists a ** ******* ******* account, which I’m positive is a scam, as I do not have a ******* card & haven’t had one in nearly 20 years.Business Response
