Received a collection notice from this company on an account I have never had. Like many of the other complaints here, the letter states they have been trying to contact me "for years". This is the first time I have ever heard of this company, and I am not familiar with the debt they are referencing. This stinks badly of SCAM!Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

P.S. As evidenced by the many other complaints, I feel this company is operating in a very shady, almost scamming manner. If one throws enough c*** against a wall, some of it will stick. It appears this company operates this way. It would be curious to see how many of these letters are sent out, where people pay it without trying to get to the bottom of things. It would definitely be worth investigating this company on a deeper level.Initial Complaint

I received a letter fro National Action Resolutions Group LLC, dated 10/25/22, for a debt with Citi Bank South Dakota and a settlement amount of $661.82. I have not ever had an account with the presumed creditor, nor is there any collections or an account with this creditor on my credit report. I have emailed the administrator noted on the letter and requested a cease and desist. I feel that this is a scam considering the following. I would like this supposed "collection" to be canceled and no further contact from this "company".Business Response

I recieved a letter from National Action Resolution Group in regard to a settlement amount of $3624.86. I don't know the creditor they reference. I have not seen anything on my credit report about this since they state they have been trying to contact me and this is their final notice. I feel this is a scam so I am reporting to you so they can be stopped and not scam some innocent party. Also the paper they sent appears to be a photo copy and not a real invoice.Business Response

I received a letter from National Action Resolutions Group stating they would settle my account for $2170. It says it is their final correspondence but I had no previous contact from them in any form. It states it is for an account with Fairlane Credit who I have no knowledge of and doesn't say what the original amount was. None of this shows on my credit report. They gave a reference number ********. I think this fraudulent.Business Response

I received a letter dated October 25, 2022 from this company with the Ref#******** and Acct #***************. This letter like the last complaint has several red flags. (1) The letter states that several attempts have been made to contact me over the years, and yet this is the first letter I have ever received. The debt that is claimed in the letter in the amount of $751.43, is to ******** ******** which I have never had. As of 10/25/2022 (my FICO score is very good at ***).Business Response

Received a letter from National Action Resolutions Group LLC on 11/7/22 alleging I owed a balance with a creditor ******* ********* **** ***. 2nd PL. This is the letter I have received but the letter states it is the final communication before it goes to collections. I have no idea who the creditor is or the amount they believe I owe. They are seeking a settlement in the amount of 532.56. They provided a reference #******** and acct # ******. I believe this is an attempt to defraud and if so by using the ****** ****** ****** ******* this is a felony. I am in good standing with all of my creditors and have an excellent credit rating. Unless NARG can provide the name of the creditor, when the account was opened, the current balance on the account, when the account first became 30, 60, and 90 days past due, and when the first formal communication was sent to me I will not take this claim seriously. What I will take seriously is my legal recourse to file suit against NARG for any negative credit rating that I may incur and file suit against them for fraud.Business Response

I received a letter from this company National Action Resolution Group LLC. Ive never heard of them but they are stating they are collecting a debt for an account I do not have in the sum of $613.04. The Creditor they disclose is one Ive dealt with in the past so I called them directly to verify and they dont have any record of the the mentioned account. Like other complaints Ive read they state they have tried to contact me over the years and this is the first Iv seen. I checked all 3 bureaus and I do not have the account from the state creditor or every have. I called NARG LLC and got an answering machine. I believe this is a Phishing Scam and i would like to officially report this.Business Response

I received a collection letter from National Action Resolution Group addressed to a name i haven’t used in almost 15 years. It insisting I pay them a large random settlement amount for a debt I KNOW was discharged nearly 20 years ago. They are threatening to send me to some unnamed 3rd party. This feels scammy and wrong. My credit is excellent and this debt is not listed. They’re trying to extort money from me. This is a problematic “organization”Business Response

I received a letter serving as final correspondence from this company stating they have been trying to reach me for years for the amount of $590.40. It says there was some contractual agreement. I have never used any services or owed any debt to Monterey County Bank and have never had anyone ever contact me about this previously. It refers to #******** account ********************** I always lay all my debts even if I have to make payment plans. This looks very scamish to me.Business Response

I've been contacted numerous times from this company. They state, I owe a debt of $1,688.28 with Advance Cash and want me to settle the debt at a lower amount. On 8/26/22 I requested a "debt validation letter". Its now 11/7/22, they are still contact me and I received NO debt validation letter. The creditor does not show on my credit report. I have emailed the administrator noted on the letter and requested a cease and desist. I feel that this is a scam considering the following. I would like this supposed "collection" to be canceled and no further contact from this "company".Business Response

This consumer was sent an original dunning notice to his home address upon placement of this account with my office on 03/09/2022. This consumer has also been sent two settlement offers. All correspondence sent from NARG provides the consumer with the original account information such as creditor and account number. This consumer also has access to and viewed his account information via our portal **************** would also like to recognize the fact that this consumer has not ONCE requested a validation of debt as they are stating nor did they request a cease and desist. This is for your loan with Advance.Cash which was opened on 07/02/2019 and deposited into your TD BANK NA account, ending in xxx****. We are now in ownership of this debt and would like to help you resolve it. The current balance is reflecting $1,688.28. This account information and account ownership can be verified by contacting the original creditor, Advance.Cash at ###-###-####. You can resolve this debt online at **************** once you verify your debt.
