I've been contacted numerous times from this company. They state, I owe a debt of $1,688.28 with Advance Cash and want me to settle the debt at a lower amount. On 8/26/22 I requested a "debt validation letter". Its now 11/7/22, they are still contact me and I received NO debt validation letter. The creditor does not show on my credit report. I have emailed the administrator noted on the letter and requested a cease and desist. I feel that this is a scam considering the following. I would like this supposed "collection" to be canceled and no further contact from this "company".

This consumer was sent an original dunning notice to his home address upon placement of this account with my office on 03/09/2022. This consumer has also been sent two settlement offers. All correspondence sent from NARG provides the consumer with the original account information such as creditor and account number. This consumer also has access to and viewed his account information via our portal **************** would also like to recognize the fact that this consumer has not ONCE requested a validation of debt as they are stating nor did they request a cease and desist. This is for your loan with Advance.Cash which was opened on 07/02/2019 and deposited into your TD BANK NA account, ending in xxx****. We are now in ownership of this debt and would like to help you resolve it. The current balance is reflecting $1,688.28. This account information and account ownership can be verified by contacting the original creditor, Advance.Cash at ###-###-####. You can resolve this debt online at **************** once you verify your debt.

I have received text messages and voicemails to myself, my wife and other family members from NARG. I have no debt with the associated creditor they are saying they are collecting on. I verified with my credit report and also all bank accounts to show payments and or deposits for this lender for the dates they advised we received the money and last payment made. I did ask for verification of the debt (meaning the original creditors documents) and we received nothing other than another letter. Which by the way had a REALLY old address of mine! My wife works in collections and stated this is pretty much a SCAM!

    ***** *******

You were contacted by our office regarding an outstanding balance due to the original creditor ************, opened on 02/1/2019. This loan was deposited into your ********** ******** **** account **********. You were making payments on this loan in the amount of $109.79, last payment received by original creditor was on 5/15/2019. The current balance is reflecting at $890.18, which is now owned by my office, National Action Resolutions Group. You can always verify this debt with the original creditor, and verify the fact we are now in ownership of said debt. ************ can be reached at ###-###-#### for verification purposes only. A dunning notice or VOD was sent to your home address of **** ******** *** ************ ** *****. Which was the address listed on the account when placed here. The one and only conversation that we have had with you since placement on 3/23/2022 was on 11/01/2022. At which point you requested validation of the debt. Which you received via email. A validation of debt letter is simply a notice with our company letterhead, providing the balance, original account number and creditor. We have no reason to scam or deceive anyone. I have placed this account into Cease and Desist status as requested per this complaint, and balance is still due. Should you verify your debt and would like to resolve this issue, feel free to reach out.

I received a letter dated September 8, 2022 from this company with the Ref# ******** and Acct #*********** asking for a settlement amount of $2,653.22. This letter was addressed to my Maiden name from twenty years ago yet my current address. I have never had a Marquis Card and it does not appear anywhere on my credit report that I follow closely. Until recently I did not have a credit card at all for the past 20+ years. The letter states that several attempts have been made to contact me over the years, and yet this is the first letter I have ever received.

I received a letter from National Action Resolutions group on Sept. 16, 2022, the letter was dated Sept. 8, 2022. This letter stated that they had tried to reach me several times but, I have never heard of this Company before receiving this letter. It stated that they were trying to collect a debt. They gave me a Ref#********...Acct#*************** Settlement amount of $2600.05. I ran all three credit reporting agencies and nothing is there for any bad debts, my credit score is in good shape. I do not have any bad debts and I don't recall any. They need to close this and stop any further false allegations.

I received a letter from this business dated September 8 2022 attempting to settle a delinquent debt by October 7 2022 from a creditor I don’t do business with. In addition, I have received a call and text on my mobile phone asking me for a status on their settlement offer with the same “reference #” as in the letter. No company name is affiliated with the phone number and is listed as a telemarketer on the robokiller site. I have checked all 3 credit reports and confirmed no adverse accounts appear and no current or prior history of business with the creditor listed. I did contact my state attorney general’s office who said there should be a number of other details provided if from a legitimate debt collector, along with their permit # to do business in the state and that this is likely a scam since it fits a pattern of common scams they are aware of.

I received a phone call on 10-4-21, and letter from National Action Resolutions Group dated 9-8-2022. The letter had a reference number, and an account number, claiming I failed to resolve a debt matter per contractual obligation in the amount of $1945.79. I do not owe this debt, and have never owed this debt. This is a scam.

i received a letter dated September 8, 2022 Ref# ******** from National Action Resolutions Group stating a settlement offer of 1,625.20 from ***** *** *****  I dismissed this as just a fraudulent claim because I have no outstanding delinquent debts. I have paid all my debts and loans for the past 15 years according to my most recent credit report and I have excellent credit. But I decided to do some research on the BBB website anyway and was astonished to find so many complaints getting the same letter at the same time. i wanted to come forth and expose some concerning things to look for if anyone else receives a letter like this. First thing, the letter claims that Several attempts have been made to contact me. This is actually the first letter i have ever seen. it doesn't disclose an original amount, just a settlement offer. There is no date when this account when into delinquency nor a date when they have attained this debt from the original creditor. I would like this company to a cease and desist this attempt to collect and no further contact.

I received a debt letter dated September 8, 2022 from the National Action Resolutions Group LLC out of Lockport, NY. Ref # ********, act # **************** for $2,198.69. It has been over 10 years since I have settled any and all debts, my accounts are closed. And moreover, the letter said "Several attempts have been made to contact you over the years however all efforts have been exhausted". I don't know what they are talking about, have not had any letters or calls from this company regarding this. The letter was signed from Ashley M*****, Director of Operations. There is a phone number and website listed on the letter, however I will not be contacting them this way as these are some of the easiest ways for scammers to collect your information.

I received a letter from this Ashley M***** dated September 8 2022 ref #******** acc 44*********37511 I left a message with this company too. They stated I owe something from many years ago for $994.38 with Household /uici.

I’ve never heard of this company. They use very threatening language saying I must dispute this or it’s valid. I have no accounts in bad standing or missed payments. This needs to stop now.

I’m also aware of consumer laws in which a debt company can contact or collect. I will file suit if this continues and I don’t hear from this company this account is gone in question.

    To whom it may concern,

The correspondence received was a settlement offer for the creditor listed on that letter.  All of the account information that was available to us is included in that letter. There is no threatening verbiage in our letter what so ever.  We have not verbally spoken with this consumer to verify the correct identity or verify the account information. However, due to said complaint, I have closed this account as a dispute.

    Take Care,

    Ashley M*****

I received a letter from National Action Resolutions Group LLC stating they would settle for a specified dollar amount that I supposedly owe to Orchard Bank. I have never heard of Orchard Bank or this debt. This isn’t on any of the three credit reports I checked. After doing a Google search I found this to be a common practice for this company in an effort to collect on a debt that does not exist, and that is fraud.
